The presentation of these dishes were incredible. I couldn’t believe how beautiful they looked. They tasted just as good. The honey murgh tiwalla was delicious. It had a little kick but if you know me, you know I can’t handle much spice. This was perfect for me! The special badami was basically a satay curry and wow.. it tasted so so good! I absolutely love anything satay. I’m so glad I tried something new other than my go to – chicken makhani. We ordered 3 different rice and tried them all. They were good. The peshwari naan was tasty too. I’d definitely go back here. The venue is absolutely stunning, food is delicious and the service was top tier!
Food is exceptional and the staff are very kind. I love the decor, the presentation is stunning and the table/plates/forks are always clean.
The only thing I would change is the location. If it would relocate to the street I live on, that would be amazing
Will be back next time I’m home.
The service is pretty poor, rude staff that start clearly the table when people are still eating. Passing hot plates in front of you instead of walking round. They seem pretty uninterested in good table service, just what your order is and how quick they can get you in and out.
The noise is also a problem because you can’t hear the people at your table due to the acoustics of the place. All underground, no widows so if you dont like stairs you might have a problem.
asked for water, and they gave me like literally half n hour later. food taste is avg.
10/10. The food is so so good
Wild Ginger is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Aberdeen. The food is utterly delicious, every single dish I’ve tried has been full of flavour and beautifully presented. The Chilli Broccoli is honestly one of the best appetisers I’ve ever had (and that’s coming from a meat eater!).
The venue itself is spotless, the décor is elegant and inviting, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The owner and manager truly go above and beyond for their customers, making every visit a memorable one.
It’s a real shining gem in Aberdeen for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. Big shoutout to their Mango Lassis and Peshwari Naan too , they’re absolutely perfect. And don’t get me started on their incredible butter chicken curry… wow!
Couldn’t recommend Wild Ginger enough!
The atmosphere was great with the music and the lighting, it wasn’t loud or too dark/bright so I would say it was just right for me.
The staff were friendly and helpful when they brought our orders to the table.
food wise was absolutely fantastic when I ordered the Honey Murgh Tillwala for my starter & the Kashmiri lamb tikka with garlic naan bread for my main meal.
overall I would say the Wild Ginger is a fantastic place to go to for good quality food and well worth the price to pay for it.
