Going to Yellowstone or S. Montana, check out this joint. Outdoor eating is always better than indoor for some reason & the brisket here was wonderful.
Closes seasonally, but opening again soon.
Reservations not required.

This little bakery on the Yellowstone River is an absolute gem! It’s a great stop on the way to Gardiner & YNP, or on your way to float the river. Legit coffee (espresso!), baked goods & breakfast options (the brisket breakfast burritos are sooo good!), and they even have fresh-baked sourdough bread loaves (and other kinds too). They are open Thursday – Monday in the summer (they close in November for winter break, & reopen in April). I just wish they could stay open for the weekends over the winter! See you next summer :))

Closes at 2pm. Great selection of coffee and pastries. Brisket wraps available until sold out! Fresh cookies are amazing! We tried the Blueberry raspberry pastry, s’mores blonde, and cheese danish- all delicious. Also, iced coffee.

It was all around a good time good. The Acony bells are awesome. food was great first time having a barbecued mushroom. The mosquitoes were the downside got ate up wish I knew that ahead of time. And I get a little grossed out when people are spraying bug spray all around me and my food tastes like bug spray.

What a cozy spot! We really enjoyed the breakfast sausage sandwich and brisket breakfast burrito. A little expensive, but both items were high quality. Make sure to utilize the homemade hot sauce!!
Today was a gloomy, grey, rainy morning, and this place felt so homey and comfortable.

While celebrating our first wedding anniversary, my husband and I stayed at the Tiny Town campground which is literally a short walk from this bakery. We love to explore and experience as much as possible on our adventures because more often than not, we find these wonderful little spots that represent so much of the local vibe. The bakery had a comfortable and friendly atmosphere that we Montanans cherish. The coffee was delicious and the baked goods are scrumptious! I strongly advise those who read any negative reviews of this place to chalk it up to tourists not quite accustomed to small towns with small businesses that do not make it their main goal to cater to high maintenance tourists. Please travel and visit Montana with open minds and hearts. Go into every experience with the understanding that you ARE an outsider, but if you are humble and kind, most Montanas will help you.

We picked up a rhubarb bar, fruit bar, huckleberry scone, and a caramel roll. All were very delicious. We will definitely be returning for more.
