I typically like thin crust pizza, but this thicker Detroit style pizza was delicious-we had the supreme and loved it! The atmosphere is fun and sort of has a nostalgic 70’s basement rec. room feel with the pool tables and eclectic memorabilia. It’s a good place to grab a beer and pizza and maybe play some pool. I can see it being busy on the weekends with young people. The staff were friendly too, I would say the guys more than the woman for sure.

This is their newer location in the Pearl area. It’s across from 10 Barrel. The inherit is pretty spacious and good for groups. We came in for a quick slice and left satisfied. I really enjoyed the crispy cheese crust on the side of the pizza. The pepperoni slice and sausage slice were a good snack.

So i got the special slice for pizza week and it was underwhelming in flavor and it was burnt.
The cashier Ryan was a complete jerk and was giving attitude the whole time. He should not be working there because everyone else was nice and the bartenders were being awesome.

Finally got to try Wild Child. I decided to get the seasonal flavor Verde Carnitas. It was DELICIOUS!! Spicy, tangy, flavorful. It was not greasy at all. The sourdough crust was so soft and fluffy and I especially loved the crusty edge.
At first I thought $7.50 was expensive for 1 slice but they are HUGE!
I’m a ranch snob and thought the ranch was just meh. It was also $1 for a tiny container of ranch. Most other places only charge .50 for that size.
Staff was nice. Not overly friendly but not rude. Cute little shop.

Small pizza shop serving up slices or whole pies of Detroit-style pizza. It’s hard to find vegan Detroit-style options, and I was so glad I gave wild child a try. The vegan harissa was absolutely delicious. Crust was nice and crispy, with a cheesy, gooey center. I’d highly recommend and if the harissa was any indication, I imagine the vegan veggie and vegan cheese options are also great.

I ordered five large pizzas last minute for a school event with my students, and Wild Child Pizza came through seamlessly! Despite the short notice, they handled our order with ease. For many of my students, this was their first time trying Wild Child Pizza, and it was an absolute hit, every slice was gone in no time! The quality, flavor, and service made the experience a huge success. Definitely a go-to spot for any kind of event!

Great choice of pizzas with great vegetarian options. Quick service and singles available if you are in a hurry. Parking is limited and shared between all the stores in the square, but you are sure to find a spot on the roads nearby. The place doesn’t take phone orders, though you can order online on their site.

Crispy parmesan crust, they have a slice that resembles an Italian sub. BOINK!!!

I wished I liked this, but it’s a lot of dense bread and every part of it is intensely salty, with spicy red sauce that seems to be trying very hard. My child flatly refused to eat it, which is newsworthy. I don’t drink, but I think this pizza might be built to sell beer.
