OMG! This is my kind of place. They have something that looks like a Hershey kiss but predates it. The kiss came after. If you love chocolate like I do, this is the place for your. I really like the Ritz peanut butter crackers coated in Wilbur chocolate. I am definitely hooked.

Do not enter before you’ve had lunch or dinner, otherwise you will end up with a truckload of chocolate like I did. To be fair, we made a special 4 hour trip just to get chocolate for holiday baking and stocking stuffers. Now we need bigger stockings.

My grandfather worked for Wilbur chocolate so I have a sweet spot for their work. Unfortunately they sold the factory but I’m definitely glad they kept the store locally. It’s dang good chocolate (much better than Hershey). They’re still making some treats in front of you as well.
Definitely love the mixed buds and the dark salted caramels.

My husband and I visited the historic Wilbur Chocolate Place, where the iconic Chocolate Buds were first made, and it’s fascinating to see the roots of a beloved treat that inspired Hershey’s Kisses! We loved exploring the variety of chocolates available and ended up buying some delicious Milk Chocolate Buds. The sweet, melt-in-your-mouth texture was great, but they come with a slightly pricey tag ($17 per pound)! Worth noting that parking is available on site. Overall, a sweet experience that’s worth indulging in! 4.5/5 stars

After you are welcomed with the wonderful smell of chocolates, you’ll see an open area where the chocolates goodness are being made in front of your eyes. If that is not inviting enough, I don’t know what will. The chocolates have a nice depth of flavors in them and the overall confection is not overly sweet and you can still taste each of the ingredients in your mouth. The decoration in the store are so very charming and with lots of history items on display.

Wilbur chocolate is the bedrock of our annual, family candy making weekend! Without Wilbur chocolate, we’d be up a creek. In fact, we moved to Wilbur some years ago because our other brand had slid in quality. Big thanks for consistent quality and always having stock.

Great chocolate – Wilbur Buds are a classic favorite. (They were around before the Hershey Kiss). Don’t sleep on the Triple Coated Almonds!! Also the Peanut Butter fudge!! Nice gift tins and special packaging (a bit pricey)

Milk chocolate peanut butter cups were excellent. The chocolate covered peanuts were ok.
They are known for the Wilbur buds and we purchased several bags as gifts for family.

What a cool place. I went and got some chocolate that the makes one the ladies were super nice, the place is in the environment is absolutely just delightful great place to experience chocolate differently if you compare in this chocolate to the Hershey’s chocolate, you actually be blown away tastes way better I didn’t realize that so this Wilbur Wilbur I think that’s how you pronounce it taste amazing. Definitely a place worth to stop. They got a lot of rich history and the experience is awesome. It’s got plenty of parking space just have to be little patient and if you need to use the gentleman’s bathroom they do not offer that in there. Other than that it’s a great place highly recommended you will go crazy the prices are very reasonable and the chocolate tastes way better.

We were there for a family outing. It’s a lot different than it was years ago. Seeing the machines making chocolate was nice. All the chocolate we could buy was good. And we did. But we’re disappointed that they didn’t have a lot of other chocolate items to buy. Years ago they had chocolate hand cream which our grandson loved and was hoping to get it again. But we had a good time.
