Reviews
The prices on the sign were less than the charged priced. Also, the AI drive thru is annoying! It kept asking if i wanted to upgrade my veggie dog to premium beef (uh.. no) than was non stop with requesting ding dongs, etc for the up-sale. Also asking what flavor drink I wanted (i didn’t order a drink) I had to pull forward to talk to a real human to order. But the food is worth a little hassle.
Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5)
The Good: Food & Efficiency
Wienerschnitzel remains a reliable staple for a quick, nostalgic bite. The food quality is consistently good, albeit expensive for portion size and often just a glorified usually cheap food if made at home. The service is almost always timely. If you’re looking for a recommendation, the Cucumber Lemonade is easily the best item on the menu—it’s incredibly refreshing and well-balanced and worth the price.
The Bad: The AI Drive-Through Experience
The recent implementation of an Artificial Intelligence system for drive-through ordering is, frankly horrid, frustrating, and hard to use. Instead of streamlining the process, it adds a layer of frustration, ESPECIALLY as it’s along a loud road and is unable to pickup lower voices. The AI frequently misinterprets items, struggles with natural pauses, and often requires multiple repetitions to get a simple order right. It feels like a significant step backward in technology that was meant to be “convenient.”
The Window: Communication Barriers
If you try to bypass the AI by pulling up to the window or parking, the experience doesn’t necessarily always get smoother. There are often significant language differences and communication difficulties that make it hard for customers to convey their orders or ask for customizations. For a business that relies on clear communication to get orders right, these barriers—both digital and human—make the simple act of buying a hot dog much more stressful than it needs to be.
Summary: Go for the food and the lemonade, but be prepared to pack your patience for the ordering process.
I couldn’t make up my mind between the hotdog or the hamburger, so I told the gal to surprise me…What a surprise! It was Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆
