Absolutely fabulous! If you remember the old Jrs hot dog stands, you will love Widens. These hot dogs took me back 20 years. It was a great journey. The people there were wonderful, friendly, and very informative. You will become a regular. You owe it to yourself.

If you grew up on the southside of Chicago and went to a Jr’s Hotdogs and miss it since they’re all gone now..you’ve found your place! It’s basically Jr’s under a different name. I was so happy to get the cheese dog I grew up on. Can’t wait to go back!

This place has the best beef sandwich in all Chicago land. Their hot dogs are still the best around too. I grew up here and came back after being gone for many years, and it’s still fantastic. Staff are super friendly and prices are good too.

Cute place. Bigger inside than it looks. Hot dogs are really good. Decent size. Cheese curds were really good too. Staff was slightly less than friendly but looked like maybe a family run place and the kids weren’t too jazzed to be working the counter. Whatever the case, I’ll be back.

LOVE this place!!! First time customer today but won’t be my last! Dan was SO FRIENDLY! Several “regulars” came in while I was there, and Dan knew their “usual”! You just don’t see that anymore! I told Dan I had read the positive reviews and seen this was once a Jr’s, so I decided to try it. So often, things are not as you remember, but the Italian Beef with red sauce took me back 40 years to when I was a teenager and had a Jr’s. right down the street! Truly my FAVORITE Italian Beef and Red Sauce EVER! Can’t wait to try the dogs next time! Try Widen’s for yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Can’t get much more local than this, Widen’s is a staple of Orland Park. Get your hot dog anyway you want it and they have much more than hotdogs too. Our families go to spot if we need a quick and delicious bite.

Great Chicago Style Hot Dogs, No Ketchup!! Italian Beef is great, Love the Chilitos too. Family run, owner on site so everything is made perfect! Best fries too. Try the funnel fries for dessert. Best Hotdogs around. I don’t like the rubbery Vienna beef dogs, these are real Frank’s. Owner seems quiet and a bit grumpy but that’s well worth the delicious food.

Cheeseburger meal is great. Added extra cheese curds, really glad i did. If i had to nitpick something it would be to cook the fries just a little longer. But thats simply personal preference. Overall really good place
