I was passing through Leadville on my way home to Durango when I spotted the pizza flag and then Wicked Good Pizza. I already had pizza on my mind and so I pulled on in.
I ordered the 14” wood-fired “Sweet Heat” pizza. It comes with red sauce, mozzarella, caramelized, onions, sausage, jalapeños, caramelized onion jam, and hot honey drizzle.
The owner, Chuck, told me it was one of his bestsellers—and I can believe it. Actually, that’s why I’m taking the time to write this review. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The sweetness came from the caramelized onions and the hot honey drizzle, which was not overpowering, and went perfectly with the savory sausage piled on top. Oh, man! I probably wasn’t too far out of Leadville before I ate all of it. If you’re ever passing through Leadville, you gotta stop and get a pizza from Wicked Good.

We stumbled upon Wicked Pizza on our drive home from Aspen and we are so thankful we did! The pizza was exceptionally delicious! Josh has some great options. We had the wicked garlic pie – soooo good! If you are near the area, definitely make a point to stop there!

This is a must if you are going through or staying in Leadville! Delicious stone fire pizza!! And it was quick! We had the Leady and the Sweet Heat. Definitely should have gotten a large Sweet Heat. It was SO GOOD!

had this for the first time last night and I don’t know what took us so long to stop in here. Absolutely nailed the brick oven style crust – crispy, spots of just enough burnt, still soft and stretchy on the inside. Been awhile since I’ve had a crust done this well and even more impressive at altitude. We got a vegan pie and there was a solid amount of cheeze, not always the case at a lot of other locations. we’ll definitely be back!

Incredible pizza and great service! We were going to eat at the other pizza place in town, but it was a 2 hour wait. What!!! So glad we decided to come here though, it was only 20 minutes for our two large pizzas AND they tasted amazing. After a day of hiking and driving, this hit the spot. He does an incredible job and is a super nice guy. Loved it!

10 minutes for the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Got the veggie blanco added artichokes. Perfect portion of veggies, sauce. The crust was perfection. 10/10 there’s a reason it has all 5 star reviews. Sooo good we didn’t even get a picture we ate it too fast

We had a great date night last night at this food cart. Wicked Good has THE best crispy, charred, saucy margarita / pepperoni combo. We stayed there, in our own truck, blasted the music and turned the fire on high. Delicious dinner!!

The only reason it took me so long to review this pizza is only because I couldn’t stop eating it. We had the Sweet Heat and it was beyond excellent, we absolutely loved it. As an NJ native, this is a delicious pie that I can’t recommend enough. The owner was super awesome too, keep up the good work! Don’t pass up the opportunity to stop here when passing through Leadville.
