Salsa is amazing! Guacamole was great! Chips are fried with everything else, not vegan, so I had to bring my own and ask for tortillas. I had the vegan cauliflower tacos, pretty good, needed more flavor. Cool atmosphere. Live music. The restaurant entrance was hard to find, on a strange road, we had to do a u-turn – I feel like people pass, get frustrated, and keep driving without turning around. Server wasn’t great.

We came in for lunch this afternoon and LOVED the food and our drinks! We enjoyed a Long Island Iced Tea and House Margarita. We shared the Combo Chicken and Steak Fajita with a side of Queso. Our Server/Bartender Faryn was very kind and attentive with our questions and needs. Thank you very much, we will be back soon.

I really want to love this restaurant – it has so much potential but today’s visit was probably my last time eating here. The food is delicious, the servers are attentive, and the decor is cool. But the last couple of times I’ve been there the process of getting seated has been really frustrating. Today that frustration and stress caused by the host station spilled over to the servers who were noticeably irritated. They snapped at the hostess and were overheard complaining that the hostess flooded the dining room which overwhelmed the kitchen. As a customer, I shouldn’t be aware of any of this.
This restaurant doesn’t take reservations, which is fine. Just be prepared to wait if you show up at peak times. What’s NOT fine is that no matter how long the wait actually is, the hostess tells everyone 15-20 minutes. Today’s wait, after being told 15-20, was actually 30 minutes. People in the waiting area were getting heated. The last time I was here (a couple of months ago), the same expectation of a 15-20 minute wait was offered by the hostess; it was actually over 45 minutes to get seated. Just be straight with your customers. Give us a realistic time expectation.

Absolutely phenomenal service and experience! We were greeted upo walking in by Jordan, the amazing bartender. Then sat and served fantastic food, energy, and suggestions by Ricky! He was incredible with great attentiveness and courtesy. Loved him! Jordan made one of the best bloody Maria’s I’ve ever had! We even spoke to Amy the manager to let her know how kick ass the entire establishment is. So if your looking for great food, drinks AND amazing atmosphere. Go don’t think just go! We will be back!

Wicked Cantina St Pete is one of the best, if not the best, Tex Mex places in Pinellas County. This restaurant is strategically located near everything and easy to get to and from. If you are in the region it’s a must visit due to the great food and vibe.
The dining experience starts with great service with a hostess, bartender and wait staff that are courteous, attentive and responsive. On a side note, Wicked Cantina St Pete has live music that compliments the dining experience.
As for food, Wicked Cantina St Pete offers one of the broadest selections for a Tex Mex restaurant. The menu alone is worth working through the various appetizers and entrees. I have personally been working through the menu on numerous visit and t hasn’t disappointed. I would recommend the Blanco queso and chips to start with, don’t forget one of their signature margaritas. Which by the way, even the house margarita on the rocks holds its own. As for entrees, I’d recommend the seafood enchiladas or grouper tacos . They both offer large portions. Now for dessert, you can’t go wrong with with the Key Lime Pie .

I love their carnitas tacos! I have been here several times and have not been disappointed yet. Their tacos are delicious and I love that they serve them with rice and your choice of beans. My husband really enjoys the Cowboy Brisket Bowl. The atmosphere is good too with the blue booths and sometimes they have live music.

This is a place I have wanted to try for weeks and finally had that chance last night. We went about 6 and hardly any in the place.
The host was pleasant and seated us right away, the server came over in a timely manner and took drink orders and gave us some recommendations on the menu. Ultimately we ordered cowboy tacos and the tex mex bowl. The tacos were mediocre at best and the bowl was terrible. The bowl, first of all is small for an entree, it is in the size of a house salad bowl. This consists of shredded lettuce, tortilla strips, a little ground meat, way too many jalapenos for such a small bowl and two sauces, overkill. There were two small pieces of avocado that I had to remove for having bad spots and no pico as described. This was just an over sauced mess with no substance and definitely not a $16 dinner.
The chips and salsa were good and the server was very good. Not enough of a reason to go back.

We had such a great experience at Wicked Cantina! Lucero was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome.
The food was excellent from start to finish. The kids’ tacos were a hit—our little one ate so well and loved every bite. My mom had the shrimp tacos and couldn’t stop raving about them. I had the cauliflower and sweet potato tacos, and they were full of flavor and so satisfying. Cauliflower was my favorite!
Overall, a perfect mix of great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
