Owner, cook, and Airbnb host. This place is a must-go if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area. The room is amazing. Very wide open space, your own kitchen and bathroom. She also owns a breakfast restaurant that’s right near your room. HOMEMADE EVERYTHING from scratch. I highly recommend her omlets and sausage patties (also flattened and cooked from scratch)!

Ridiculously delicious – I’ve been all over and am from the south— I’ve never had tastier biscuits or French toast. Decent service and fair prices, too with the charm of an old western town.

Quaint diner next to an inn. The staff had lovely small town hospitality. The food was good, but it did lack quite a bit in flavor (there is another review floating around on Google about the same issue). The biscuits look excellent but they are not buttery , nor do they have much flavor. They did not have decaf (which I know, no one really drinks decaf, but we do) and the coffee was pretty flavorless as well. The Carmel rolls are quite good however! We split one between the both of us!

I don’t think this place isn’t good. I think it’s worth the stop! It is a quintessential small town diner! Our food came out in a timely manner and the cook was quite friendly!

Must stop cafe! Almost everything is homemade (including the jams) and you can taste it 🙂 I would reccomend the pancakes and skillet. Very generous portions as well. You feel like you’re eating with family at this cafe <3

The cafe is vintage but kept up great and very clean. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt. Nice clean restrooms as well. Overall, it was a great experience.

A lovely place and just what 2 Brits on a road trip to the mid-West wanted to find. Proper home prepared and home cooked food. Lovely staff. True hometown USA.

Wife and I had breakfast on July 4. Spanish omelette and french toast were both very good. Classic small town cafe. Not too busy, not too fast, but well worth the stop.

An older cafe holding onto the rustic look. The food was great but we’re out on an item. Great selection of food. We ate breakfast and had a wonderful time.

Menu was way too complex. They had to use like a 8 font size single spaced to get it all on menu. They are trying to save money by making own hamburger buns but they don’t know how to make bread it was soggie. I had a raw French fry at first bite. To hear owner explain hot plate she even gets confused.
