This restaurant is a family favorite, recommend it 1000%. Been going there for years now. Salsa is fresh, made daily and is 10/10 quality. Today we got fish tacos, estillo trompo el pastor burrito, chicken tacos. And for dessert the best crème brûlée of any restaurant I have ever been to as well as pumpkin flan which is perfect for fall. Definitely stop by!

Excellent! The open faced quesadilla was amazing. Tortilla soup was delicious and I had the carne asada. Waiter was helpful explaining dishes and making suggestions. The coco flan and crème brûlée were both excellent

I’ve been passing this place for years as I head to longhorn. Today I finally decided to stop and I truly wish I hadn’t. The service wasn’t awful but it definitely wasn’t great. I paid 17 bucks for a steak burrito that had zero taste whatsoever. The beans had zero taste and were whole beans that were super watery the rice had zero taste. Then they offered me a choice of soup. I chose tortilla soup and requested that the tortilla chips come on the side just to find out that the, extremely bland tortilla, soup doesn’t come with tortilla chips. Make it make sense…that’s the best part of tortilla soup! Nothing was made with any love or care just thrown together. I came, I tasted, and I never need to go back.

Wholly Frijoles is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! The food is bursting with authentic flavor—fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and made with real care. From the homemade salsa to the tacos and enchiladas, everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Delicious food, wonderful service and relaxing atmosphere. Unique and creative dishes. Very generous portions with beautiful presentation. Salsa was delicious! Flautas were huge and stuffed with tender juicy chicken then topped with green chili and cheese. Steak enchiladas were delicious. Red sauce had just enough spice.

Honestly, I am not big fan of Mexican cuisine, but I have to admit that everything was really good! I barely know what I ordered . I took some soup, and some sandwich with steak ( photos attached since I can’t remember the name of anything, visited this place 2 weeks ago). Portions are huuuuge, but really tasty! Service is more than amazing! I had feeling I am in some small, local place somewhere in Latin America would recommend to everyone!

The salsa, guac and queso fundido were good….I asked for hot sauce to spice it up because they were pretty neutral.
My order came with the Chef Special Cream of Zucchini Soup….wait!! I know what you are thinking but let me tell you, we could not have been more wrong. I am determined to figure out how to make that soup at home. It was velvetty and creamy with fresh cilantro….definitely a surprise delight.
I ordered the red snapper and the tomato sauce, rice and refried beans combo. My my my was it tasty.
My friend had the Salmon Chef’s special with coconut milk/creme sauce. Soooo good.
Overall dinner was great!
