A really cute spot in Rahway!?
Who knew? I haven’t been to Rahway since the nineties so when I was told an industry meet up was happening there, I gave a hard side eye. But I was pleasantly surprised by the changes to the town, and this lovely little cafe is where they held it. It was such a nice vibe and how cool of them to let a large group like this take over part of their space. I had an oat milk hot chocolate that was vegan friendly and divine. And I loved all of the cows on the walls and even in the loo.

What a pretty coffee shop with plenty of comfortable seating and simple, easy to read options for coffee and gelato. Came here close to around noon on a Sunday when the place was empty. The barista seemed friendly and just the right demeanor for a coffee shop.
Capuccino is just right in taste but lacked in design. This is not a deal breaker but just one of those cutesy things that I enjoy in a capuccino that sets one apart from the other coffee shops. Little snacks like cookies and muffins are also available to go with your coffee.
Street parking only in this booming downtown area of Rahway not too far from the train station.

We were there around 2:10 on Sunday, Dec 7. the girl working then she was so polite and so sweet and stunning. Just giving the time so you know who she is — she was great. The coffee was excellent too! the place is very pretty as well it was my first time trying there coffee and I loved it

Tried a few flavors before narrowing down on our choices and the guy behind the counter was super patient and helping us with recommendations. Got 2 medium sized cups – stracciatella+pistachio , lemon tart+coconut. You get to choose 2 flavors for a medium sized and 3 for a large. Loved the pistachio flavor best. Overall, it seemed like a cute little spot to hang out.

Decent gelato spot, service was good. We got 4 flavors, strawberry and rum n raisins were quite sweet. Green tea and dark chocolate very mildly sweet.

Good variety of flavors. I really enjoy their cookies and cream and strawberry flavors. The servers are all nice. There’s also a couch and board games if you want to hang out for a bit.

Came for a late night snack and was not disappointed. Gelato tasted great, authentic. I also like how they have a cafe. For non coffee drinkers, they have a tasty hot chocolate. The ambience is very nice, the decor was modern and tasteful, the space is very big and seems like a good spot to hang out. They sell merch too, if youre interested.

We’ve always loved visiting Wholly Cow. We’ve tried almost all flavors and both their gelato and sorbet are great, especially their banana dulce de leche and pistachio flavors. Their red velvet muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and spinach bistro are also super delicious. The owners are very nice people! The place is beautiful and some Fridays they have live Jazz music.

This is Rahway’s ultimate hangout spot. The coffee is smooth and gelato is delicious. There are plenty of flavors to satisfy any sweet tooth. I’ve visited this lovely shop several times and the service is always friendly. The atmosphere is so welcoming. Whether you’re on a date, hanging out with friends or need a place to settle down with your laptop, Wholly Cow Gelato is the spot with all the right vibes.
