If you want a great southern plate this is the place. I eat here at least once a week and have been for years . The food is consistent, very clean dining room and wonderful staff that has been there for a long time. My favorite is the squash and you must try the greens . Keep up the consistency

Love this place! Been going for years! Great food! Reminds me of my mamas cooking! Chicken; cabbage ;collards; yams; banana pudding! Wow! Moved out of state; but I visit every time I’m even “Close”to Wilson! Great people! Great Food! Great Service! What more could you ask for? Worth the trip! You will be back!!!!!

OMG! This is just a little hole in the wall place. It’s set up next to a church. There were so many employees there making sure the food was hot and plentiful. It was run like a well oiled machine! The food was like what mom used to make. Friendly staff. All around great experience. Will definitely be going again!

So, My gf told me we were going to Whole Truth and I had no idea what that was to be honest. When I heard it was a church restaurant and an old one, I was all for the trip. I support a church based restaurant, and we were greeted by the owner almost at the time of walking through the door.

Very clean place. Cool lots of fans. The staff members are friendly and professional. I love their fried chicken, candied yams, green beans, collard greens, everything is fresh and delicious. Their hushpuppies are delicious too

What a hidden gem as they say..nothing more than a whole in the wall..this is one of those word of mouth places even if you’re from Wilson..absolutely wonderful food..it’s like having your mother or grandmother in the kitchen cooking..great service..not 5 star atmosphere by any means but it is neat n clean..sanitation grade of 95..I would highly recommend this restaurant..
