We visited Tucson in Dec 2025. My husband and I went here for our first meal In AZ. It wasn’t far from our hotel and had vegan options. I was so excited to hear from the staff that their ranch is always vegan. I got a vegan pepperoni; my husband got the regular pepperoni. It was Delicious! The ranch was the best homemade vegan ranch I’ve ever had. 10/10

This place is a must try!! The staff was so friendly and the service was super quick we ordered one slice of pepperoni to try & I wish we would have ordered a whole pizza. Its one of our favorites! Amazing pizza!! Closest thing to NY style pizza in Tucson! The sauce is perfect, the cheese just right, and not super greasy. For the vegans/vegetarians the kale pizza is incredible and my personal favorite. The staff is amazing and super friendly! My wife and I go whenever we’re both on our days off or if we’re picking up a movie night pizza. Definitely a go to spot for pizza in Tucson.

A Pizza Place That Saved My Marriage
When was the last time a pizza place saved your marriage? For my wife and me, it happened the moment we walked into Whole Slice Pizza in Tucson. We live what I call a “mixed marriage”: I’m an enthusiastic carnivore, and my wife is an enthusiastic vegan. After climbing all those stairs at the Titan Missile Museum, we were both officially hangry, and a relationship crisis was brewing. We beelined for Whole Slice, knowing a compromise was needed.
We quickly ran into a dilemma: do we settle for mismatched slices or attempt a custom pie? This is where our hero, Robert, appeared from behind the counter. Cue the Indiana Jones theme music. Robert didn’t just offer to compromise; he offered to perform alchemy. He proposed a “Franken Pizza” that was precisely half Meats-Meats and half pure, indulgent vegan—a seamless blend of two opposing diets.
Much negotiation and geometry were required, as this non-standard pie needed a perfect “no Man’s Land” cut down the middle to ensure zero cross-contamination. Before I could even finish finding a seat, my wife had already dug in, and the sounds she was making could only be described as exclamations of pure joy.
We can confirm that everything, from the perfect, tangy sourdough crust to the richly flavorful sauce and the incredible toppings, was absolutely top-shelf. Robert dropped a fascinating detail about air-drying their oregano for four days before processing it by hand. He shared a lot of other relevant specifics too, but I confess I missed them because at that point, I was deep in the primal act of shoving my half of the Franken Pizza into my mouth. All I retained was the gist: “Highest Quality Ingredients blah blah blah.”
And, yes, you can absolutely taste it.
Our only regret is our distinct lack of Tucson-ity, as pizza this fine isn’t available in our hometown. If you are lucky enough to have the option of eating here, go immediately. Whole Slice Pizza doesn’t just make pizza; they craft culinary peace treaties.

Pizza is amazing and the staff is very friendly! We had both the regular crust and gluten free, both were very flavorful with the perfect chewy to crunch ratio. The ranch is also to die for, fresh made and vegan but somehow the most flavorful ranch I’ve had. Please sell the ranch by the bottle at some, I’d never buy anything else!

This is hands down my favorite pizza place in Tucson. Everything that I have tried on the menu has been delicious. The first time I went I asked what was there favorite pizza and they recommended the #4. That was the right answer and its still my favorite slice. This place is fantastic and I have been back 3 times since. Ths Sicilian with pepperoni is fantastic if you don’t know what to order. The slices are definitely meal worthy so if the price seems off-putting don’t worry. The staff are super happy to help answer questions and one lady there recognised me and gave me a punch card for a free slice and punched out one for me because the last time I was there she forgot to give me one. When I am back in the area again I am definitely going to stop by.

I visited whole slvce at least 10+ times before leaving this review, I have searched for better, or even comparable pizza, and have yet to. Every other time I come in, I get the chefs special or the one with the lemon zest & ricotta (can’t remember the name/number.) I’ve NEVER been disappointed by their chefs special, I’ve had vegetation to one that was drizzled with honey hot, and they’re ALL amazing. Today, the chef made a pepperoni pizza with pepperoni-infused ricotta dollops, 10/10, AMAZING. I’ve never had an infused ricotta, probably never will again. The lemon zest & ricotta slice, is a safe bet on amazing pizza. The ricotta is fresh and amazing every time. The house made ranch too? A game changer. Everything on this menu is to die for and easily the best pizza south of Phoenix.

I have now had the pizza from here twice (both times ordered for delivery via an app) and I am seriously impressed with the quality, value, and great experience (fast and hot delivered across town). I tried the pepperoni and one of the ricota pizzas and both were great quality. I truly felt there was good value in that I was finally getting a great pizza here in Tucson rather than one that is just OK. This place, for me, is right up there with the best pizza places in town and look forward to being able to either drop in for pizza or be able to order for delivery using apps.

They had a very unique menu and the white pizza was amazing and they take special requests very well and everything is made their they make their own sauce and their own dough. It was the best white pizza I have had on the West Coast. Also when you get a pizza there if you go next door to the bar you get a discount on your first drink.
