Food was pretty good, never had brisket sliced that thin. Also had the pork tenderloin. Meats just didn’t have the tenderness and smoky flavor from good bbq. Sides were limited. Sauces were fantastic though. That #6 is the best Carolina sauce I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was a good BBQ atmosphere. I had service a 3 but there wasn’t any, you ordered at the counter, picked it up at the counter, and served your own drinks. Which I don’t mind and actually like but some may not appreciate it.

As soon as you walk in the door you are subjected to an amazing aroma of delicious smoky meat cooking. We had an excellent early dinner of beef brisket and pulled pork with sides of potato salad and baked beans. You order at the counter then they bring the food to your table. Everything was full of smoky flavor and tasted excellent, especially the brisket, it was so tender and loaded with flavor, I can see why they have won so many BBQ awards. They have a location in Sante Fe, New Mexico as well per the worker I spoke with. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a excellent BBQ meal as well as the variety of sauces they have. I can’t wait to stop in again.

Love the outdoor seating! We had dogs with us so it made it easier. The food came out fast, as a family of 3, we got a full rack of ribs, it was sooo good! The barbecue sauces were top notch! And the tea was good too! The service was great! Super nice people.

Unfortunately, we were placed under a large TV. Conversation was difficult. The dinning room is large and comfortable. The food was very good, I love smoked meat. Large variety of barbecue sauce for all tastes. Service was quick. Waiter was quick to remove our dishes when we were done which makes it much more comfortable for desert and after-dinner talk.

Thomas recommended their brownies. I was thoroughly pleased with the consistency and texture of it. Would recommend having one at the end of a meal it quite literally is the cherry on top of the cake. 10/10 would come again!

The food was really good. Sat on the patio outside, which they allow dogs. They had the fireplace going, and it was just a nice relaxing moment. Different sauces to choose from so you can flavor your meat to your preference. The staff was friendly and nice.

The burnt ends will make you regret eating anywhere else. If you’re smart, you come in hungry. I could have leveled two plates for how good it was. Definitely slaps hard. Sauce #3 was the one. Stay locked in Whole Hog, I’ll be back soon!

The only place to get awesome & flavorful BBQ! Pulled pork plate w bun + 2 delicious sides (you can’t beat the potato salad & baked beans!) was my dinner selection, while my husband chose the famous pork belly “burnt ends” dinner & he is still talking about them! Charred to perfection! Stellar food w down-home customer service! We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our dinner at Whole Hog Cafe- we stayed at the Marriott hotel and they recommended the restaurant for a quick hot meal so we thought we’d give them a try. Good Decision – it was delicious. We ordered the pulled pork plate with 2 sides.
The pork was flavorful, warm and tender.
The atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant was clean and orderly.
You go to the counter to order then get your own drinks from the fountain. They also serve a simple glass of wine $5 (various types) and there’s beer on tap also.
They called our name and you go back up to the front counter get your food.
The variety of sauces was the best – there were 6 sauces on the table and addition upon request.
But the six were plenty. It was fun mixing them.
Glad we gave them a try- we enjoyed our meal and returned quick back to the hotel for a good nights rest.
The service was friendly and helpful.
