Outpost of a local BBQ chain dishing out ribs, brisket & other standards in a laid-back atmosphere.

Try the cheesy corn it’s great! The chicken and brisket are both delicious! Potato salad is top notch. Burnt end tips – just a taste is plenty!! Really good menu, must eat BBQ in Little Rock!

When we finally got our food, it was cold. Don’t know how long it sat in the window. The mac and cheese tastes like liquid sauce, which is not really cheese. Best thing I ate was the baked beans. I did put the slightly spicy sauce on my chopped brisket, so I am not sure if it was the brisket or sauce, but it was salty. So, I didn’t eat much of my meal. Not a great experience. Kind of tasted like what it is, strip mall food.

The foods are so delicious here! Fair price with very friendly staff. Me and my husband had our lunch here today. We actually ordered the specialities, whole bake potatoes with turkey and Beef . Soooo tasty! They do also have 6 different kinds of BBQ sauce. Everything here is so impressive!! The other, the music is amazing too 。
We’ll definitely come back soon!

AMAZING BBQ! The sign says award winning BBQ and they have the trophies to prove it. The ribs were out of this world. Burnt ends and shredded pork delicious. Don’t forget the peach cobbler with ice cream.

I’ve visited the Whole Hog Cafe about once a year for several years. It is roughly halfway between Dallas and Western Kentucky, my 10 – 12 hour drive to visit family. I always order the same thing, the pulled pork sandwich with extra slaw. The pork is fall-apart good and so flavorful. BBQ sauce is not needed but it is fun to try at least 1 of the 6 sauces available at every table. I cannot comment on the other entrees or sides but can say that I love the ambience of the restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming, another reason I like to stop. According to a sign in the dining room, the local corvette club meets at the restaurant once a month. We were not there on a first Tuesday but there were some gorgeous corvettes in the parking lot. Highly recommend! The pulled pork sandwich is THAT good!

We came up for vacation to Mountain Home, and we just had to stop for lunch. We’ve been to both locations already and they both have not failed to disappoint. The bbq is amazing, the staff treat you like family and the atmosphere is fun and enjoyable with great classic blues music, playing on the radio. If you love bbq, this is the place to stop. The ultimate bbq platter, fed our small family of 3. Keep up the great work y’all!

So when my sister & brother-in-law are in town, this is one of the places we always go eat. They love BBQ especially now since they live in Texas & they’re always comparing different places. They say that brisket is king in Texas, but the pulled pork is the best here. The food is delicious & we always look forward to dining here

Wow!!! That’s all I have to say about it. The brisket was a very very thin piece of boot leather, ribs very tough no smoke taste at all. Pulled pork tasted dirty like I was soaked in water. The greens straight from a can you can get at the dollar store. The best part of the meal was the bag of chip from lays. Worst food I’ve had I can’t even call it bbq. Whole hog has drastically declined. No award winning anything at this location. Save your money better bbq at Golden Corral.

When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and coleslaw. My friend ordered ribs with mac and a salad. My pulled pork had some burned ends that really added that smoky flavor. The restaurant had 6 different bbq sauces to choose feom and i went with the spicy and tangy. That sandwich was delicious and the sides were good too. The only thing was that the ribs were a little cold. It took us longer to order than to get our food so not sure if the food was warmed enough. Regardless it was really flavorful. In my humble opinion the only thing that i saw was that the restaurant seemed a little outdated and had many trophies on the walls that seemed overwhelming. I think it needs a little makeover. It also felt a little too quiet and it could’ve been cause it was a Wednesday afternoon or they need some tvs or music in there to lively it up. Regardless the food was good and I recommend you to taste it for yourself to form your own opinion.

We’re from Texas and wanted to try out bbq from Arkansas to see how good it is. It was really good! The ribs and meat were very tender. I like that they have 6 different flavors of sauces for the meat. The sides were alot. I was expecting the side to be in a small cup but it was a decent size. Overall, it’s a good bbq place.
