We came in from out of town and chose a local, black-owned restaurant… and I’m so glad we did. This place had the best ambiance, the staff was great. TT, Keith and Kyle are the best. But… THE FOOD…. Come on!!! That shrimp po’boy and fries were !! At your own risk, try the Hurricane… it’s the jar of goodness on the bar. Try this spot out… you won’t regret it!!

I really enjoyed this place a lot. From the moment I entered the staff members were incredibly friendly and suggested so many different foods. I was served with smiles and fun conversations. This place gave “family” vibes. Everyone was so kind, they felt familiar. I’m a stickler about things being hot and fresh. Everything I ordered was hot, fresh, and tasty. I definitely will be back to try more of their food. This is a place I recommend because they have good food and good service.

Here is the deal! The atmosphere is truly southern hospitality. You would have to go south in order to understand what i’m talking about: strangers that make you feel like family, and you have known them for decades. Everything was absolutely delicious. I believe this statement is an understatement.

So good!!! Definitely worth going to if you are in the STL area. Nice home cooked mealed for Louisiana and the Hurricanes were oh so dangerous just like they should be. Definitely definitely recommend!!!!

ALL MY EAST COAST FOLKS if ya’ll are looking for flavor and seasoning eat here!!!! Me and my boyfriend LOVED the food, LOVED the staff, LOVED the drinks!!! First time trying Louisiana hot sauce too it went to so well with my jambalaya, shrimp, and chicken. My boyfriend got shrimp and grits with a side of alligator meat. He loved it. If you’re looking for some good drinks they got that too. They’re so nice and welcoming, you’d be an absolute hater if you disagree.
