Food and service were average. Dining area could be cleaner and there were quite a few flies that made lunch much less enjoyable. Would be willing to give them another try in a few weeks to see if it was just an off day for them.

I love Whitt’s BBQ but today I called a big order in for the whole office and the representative on the phone was soo rude. Customer service was a joke I got nothing but snide comments, trying to rush my order, and she just sounded like she didn’t care about her job or the company. I will continue going to the Shelbyville location were they know what customer service is.

Possibly the worst barbecue i have ever gotten from a Whitts. I grew up eating here and when i went in to get a pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding I was greatly disappointed! The sandwiches were cold the pork was dry.. the pudding tasted instand and like it was a few days old… It had a terrible after taste. I will never eat here ever again.

When we drove up a lady was standing inside talking to whoever was taking care of the drive through. We drove around back and 4 vehicles were ahead of us. We stayed there for 15 minutes, 2 cars drove off, so I called to make sure they were open. The girl that answered was laughing and cutting up with whoever was standing in the lobby. She said they were real busy but it’s funny because no vehicles were getting taking care of. It’s pretty sad that when ur hungry for a certain food you can’t get waited on because some young folks are not responsible enough to take care of the customers. We then drove off to another barbeque place.

Really quick service and friendly staff food is good for barbecue. They have smoked chicken legs that are just amazing. If you ever go there definitely get those on the side you will love them if you like smoked chicken

We live in ga. We always used to stop here when passing through never again we ordered a 1/12 lbs of turkey we got a half of container with a long hair in it !! We told them they was rude took a very long time to get a another container with less turkey this time don’t even no why we let them get us more and didn’t get our money back went to put the baby in the high chair it was filthy. The returaunt was filthy so sad we ate at the whitts in Athens Alabama my whole child hood and knew the owners so sad how bad this one is…and never met ruder servers !! They slammed the food on the counter and walked away and never even said sorry I should of called the health department

I love this Whitt’s! Went today and everyone were so nice!! The pork bbq is wonderful and the banana pudding ROCKS! I had a really nice visit today!! That’s saying a lot for this year!

I grew up in the Boro and Whitts BBQ is the best, this BBQ is not served drowned in BBQ sauce which to me if it is covered like that it mask the taste of the food, they go e you either BBQ sauce in a small container or a vinegar base sauce and if you have never had the vinegar base sauce you have no idea what your missing. Every time I go home you can bet I am bringing at least 3 lbs back to Florida with me.

Always good, the drive-thru is fast, the girl working there is courteous and to the point and the prices are very reasonable. It’s not going to win any fancy awards but this is my go-to bbq place as of late.
