Superb BBQ experience! The inside has a very rustic feel, including log table legs in some areas. The $3 pulled pork sandwiches are actually BETTER than some much more expensive diners offer, so good I ate all three in one setting with Mac and cheese that was aldenu. Just the pork itself was super tender, amazingly smoky and perfectly topped with a snappy single pickle slice and just the right amount of cool, coleslaw on a soft warm bun. Even the banana pudding cup was the perfect consistency and packed with fresh wafers. The plate was prepared in less time than it took to make the order and the people were friendly. Definitely tip-worthy service but I prefer to tip after service and when I returned to the counter after eating, everyone was gone.

My husband and I ate here yesterday for a quick lunch. I got a barbecue sandwich with beans and my husband got two barbecue sandwiches. For the price we paid, everything should have been bigger portions. My husband literally two bites of his sandwich and said “this is barbecue?! Where’s all the flavor? This doesn’t even look or taste like barbecue!” And through his sandwiches in the trash. We were thoroughly disappointed. We won’t be back.

Let me start off by saying I didn’t receive my 2 teas, or mg cornbread. Brought my food back just now because my BBQ sandwich was supposed to be plain, it had mayo and pickle on it. I asked for it to be remade along with my potato. Whoever the blonde girl working making food was horribly rude, didn’t understand why I wanted my potato remade if there was nothing wrong with it, ..? I want a hot baked potato to eat with my hot BBQ sandwich, so since I didn’t receive my 2 large teas amd my cornbread I didn’t see a problem with asking to get my potato remade, wasn’t really worried about the tea or cornbread atvthis point. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THAT IN THIS PLACE, ALL THE YEARS JVE VEEN COMING HERE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. WHOMEVER THE GIRL IS NEEDS TO LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. OR FIND ANOTHER JOB

Arrived about 4 pm, pulled right up to the window to order. Got all my food within 5 min, workers were polite, and efficient.. Food was great but was a little disappointed in the corn bread. Really wish they would do muffins. It’s a large loaf and lacks the flavor you could get from a smaller serving. Was looking forward to it more than the BBQ. Ends were hard and too/sides but that’s how that type bakes. Not fault of the store!

I ordered the pulled pork and turkey sandwich . Seriously, the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. It was the driest meat, ever!!! And offered no sauce. My dogs won’t even eat it!! However, Service is great and they had clean bathrooms…

Yea. We’re done after being a Whitts customer sine 80’s. Paid extra for turkey and got pork. Reached out as soon as I got home, not convenient to drive back. Whitts corp doesn’t care. Keep the extra $5. added to never again list.
