Ordered a number 2 family pack which was almost 32 dollars. Got home with it left the beans and potatoes salad I called,she said she didn’t say anything about those but clearly the menu said it come with either,or not worth 32 dollars I just hung up

It’s a drive thru BBQ joint, and the food is largely edible. Definitely not the best or the worst BBQ in North Alabama but 100% decent. The drive-thru service seemed a bit unpracticed like it was their first day on the job but got our food pretty quickly and the portions were ample. We’ll be back again to try some other meats. Give it a try.

The food was mediocre. Service was terrible. The employees acted as if we were an inconvenience. We bought a slab of ribs which was dry. We were not offered or given any bbq sauce for them. The potato salad was probably among the worst we ever had. Don’t waste your money!

Order a family pack of turkey this is what I get? 3/4 of a medium size cup. And they doused it in their spicy seasoning. Any other Whitt’s I’ve ever gone to has the proper containers, filled to the max. Here, staff acts like your a nuisance for showing up. Signs on the window that say drive thru only…..what difference is it if I stand outside at a window or pull up to a different window in a car. Oh and they “prefer” cash. This Rogersville location is giving a bad name to what is one of the best fast food BBQ restaurants in the region. Didn’t even bother taking this back because I’m sure they wouldn’t give me my money back. And I heard a guy hollering it was the last of the turkey that I was getting. So basically they passed off their scraps to me for the price of what is supposed to feed a family of 3 or 4 people.

Order the pork BBQ sandwich with green beans and coleslaw. The barbecue was cold and very dry. The beans taste like they came out of a can and I absolutely hate their coleslaw. Went back and asked for a side of barbecue sauce and they gave me something to look like a bowl of vinegar it was then as water and tasted bad. Will not be visiting this place again. Definitely does not compared to Southern BBQ.

Ordered #2 Famiky back with is 1 1/2 lbs of pork slaw, buns and choice of beans of potatoe sald for $16.25. When husband got home with food I was floored- he got coke glass full of meat which I assume is 1 1/12 of pork, a pint of slaw, 12 bund and a bag if

Very disappointed. We ordered 3 baked potatoes, none of which were fully cooked. The potato we got with chicken was not edible due to the saltiness of the chicken. We also ordered potato salad, I may as well have eaten a pickle drenched in mustard. Nothing we ordered should have been served.

2 years later – Made another stop in to try the sandwich. Not much has changed – still tastes like manufactured BBQ, like it’s been made in a factory somewhere.. this is bland tasteless meat. I really want this place to be like it used to be, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I hear the ones in Athens are much better. We shall see!
Edit 1 year later. Not really sure what has changed here but something is different. I would say that it’s just ok now. It used to be great for a sandwich but the taste of the pork has changed… maybe it’s just me? I think I’m done here for now, there are better options.
