The best BBQ in town! I ride from Atlanta with a cooler every so often to go here and get a bunch of pork sandwiches, all the way of course! I get enough to eat on them nearly all week and they stay good. Don’t skip this place if you’re passing through, it’s right off the highway and they have a drive through. The girls working are very nice and helpful and can give advice if you don’t know what you’re wanting to eat. Been eating Whitts for 39 years and don’t plan to stop!

OMG this coleslaw was like none I’ve ever had before and I have to know how to make it. I will definitely be back. The potato salad was absolutely scrumptious. I got the beef and my husband got the pork plate they were just delicious. We got some of stew couldn’t eat it yet. I’ll have to report later on that. We ate everything on the plate i’m full as a tick.

Love Whitts BBQ, and decided to treat my coworkers. Only problem was they forgot the slaw in the family packs I bought. Simple mistake, but make sure you have everything before you leave. I drove all the way from Research Park in Huntsville. No way I could go back.

Ordered a turkey sandwich and side of potato salad. Really good but the side was the size of a condiment cup. It had a good taste but I really wasn’t expecting that size for a “side”. Obviously, I finished it long before my sandwich. I’ll skip it the next time and just eat my sandwich with chips.

I got 2 pork sandwiches and a stuffed potato for 24$. The potato was dry obiviously no butter and the bottom bread was so stale and tough i discarded and folded the top bun like a taco to eat the sandwich. For 24$ that shouldnt have been my experience .

Went next door to get my back adjusted. And thought I was gone to heaven cause all I could smell was barbecue. Look to cross the way. There was Whitt’s barbecue. So you know, whenever I left I had to go over yonder and get me a taste of that barbecue. I look down the menu and seeing the barbecue Sandwich with mayonnaise, pickles and cold flaw. I thought good Lord. What a mess. If it’s good barbecue You don’t need nothing but bread Mayo. If you gotta have it, gotta be dukes. And a little bit of johnny harris’s barbecue sauce. Ain’t not like it’s all I got to say. Thank you, whitt’s for being the best part of my day.

I liked a couple minutes (literally 2) making by closing! I told them I lived in TN and my wife sure loved their BBQ! They took my order and told me to come around the side if they were already closed! Can’t beat service such as that! When you think BBQ think “Whitts”!!!!!!
