Wow! This place has an AMAZING VIEW (and lots of seating to sit and enjoy said view). It also has great coffee and delicious food. The star of this place is 100% the owner! She is welcoming, generous, and has worked very hard to bring this gem back to life. If you only have time to stop at one place in Whittier, this is THE spot to go to.

Every 2 weeks I come to Oceanfront Café. Everytime Kathy (the owner) was super nice and friendly. The coffee is really good (I recommend the pistachio flavor) and the muffins are even better.

GREEN Lyrattanak Tram (Mr. Green)
This is by far one of the best and most scenic coffee shop I have ever seen and been too. I enjoyed my cappuccino so much thanks to the kind staff and best view ever. You will enjoy your coffee too, I bet.

Stopped by after hours without realizing they were closed, but the owner kindly reopened the entire cafe just to serve us coffee. That kind of kindness and hospitality is rare these days. The coffee was great, but what really stood out was the warmth and generosity. Truly appreciate it!

What a cozy spot with a spectacular view overlooking Prince William Sound. My family and I stopped in for lunch, and had the chowder (delicious), halibut bites (super good) and local fresh caught shrimp tacos (yum). Staff was friendly and helpful; there is both indoor and outdoor seating, great for whatever weather the day holds. A great spot for a bite to eat, a sweet treat or hand crafted espresso drink.

Everything about my experience was amazing. From the food to the atmosphere which was no doubt a 10/10. My girlfriend and I patiently waited for the Applewood smoked pork to be ready, over an hour. Watched other customers order the paninis, which looked amazing don’t get me wrong, but I was set on the smoked pork. I could smell the pork smoking and I knew just by the smell it would be worth the wait. And it was SO worth the wait. Sat on there beautiful porch on a beautiful day with some provided lemon water. They made sure my dog was taken care of with water as well (on there porch). I wish I remembered both of there names (I suck). I know the cook is from Maryland originally and that dude knows how to smoke some meat! Seriously, mouth watering good. I will absolutely pay for the whittier tunnel, and go out of my way just to try them again sometime!

Tacos, Beer, & Music with a view. What a wonderful place to eat. The owners were very generous and their playlist was filled with reggae artists I would listen to at home. Very comforting.

Great space with an absolutely beautiful view! Disappointment in the fact of no breakfast food served. However, if you want to enjoy a coffee in the morning…this deck is the spot to be!!!!! Calm, quiet, and more than enough space to enjoy the views 🙂
