Their pizza dough is serious business – the Margherita is a must-have. All pizzas are 12 inches so if you’re hungry or sharing, order two. The location is open-sitting so it can take some time for a spot to open up. Water cups are self-service.

The pizza made by Whit’s Pizza Pies is so light and flavorful. The crust is so tender, but still has a bit of toothsome chew to it that great pizza should have. The undercarriage and crust has a nice delicate crisp to it.
The tomato sauce on the Margherita is so bright and fresh and the mozzarella is cooked perfectly and not rubbery at all.
The breakfast special pie has a nice salty punch from the bacon and balanced nicely with the sweet hot honey, the funkiness of the Gruyere, and the fluffiness of the egg. The everything seasoning is a fantastic touch as well.
I’m glad I took the drive from Seattle to try his amazing pizzas. Whit and Jocelyn were also very friendly and showed great hospitality. Whit’s Pizza Pie is a great addition to the thriving Portland pizza scene!

Insanely good pizza. The crust is impossibly thin and crispy. Cooked to perfection. Quality toppings that pair perfectly with any beer at Living Häus. Jocelyn was kind and patient with my questions. Also, I thought one pie would be too much, but it sits lighter than you’d think – get one pizza per person if you’re even moderately hungry.

Really exceptional food- Whit’s flavors and textures are on point. And something as simple as a Caesar salad goes hard, the little touches of lemon zest and bread crumbs are so addictive. Plus you can sip on some of the best beer in Portland(Living Haus) at the same time. Hands down best pizza in the Buckman neighborhood, maybe in Portland. Just go!

I had the vodka pizza and beet salad. Both were really good. The pizzas are thin and the salad are on the small side so they are good for a solo date. I was greeted with a smile when ordering. It’s in a shared space with Living Haus Beer, so be prepared for mixed company.

This is a beautiful space with high ceilings and lots of room.

I had a spicy pepperoni pizza, a Caesar salad, and some chocolate chip cookies.

The dough has impossibly crackly bubbles. Masterful; so good.

I love the tomato sauce which was so well stewed. Just the essence of the tomato. So smooth. And the spicy pepperoni was as promised redolent of excellent cured pork. There was also a beautiful balanced garlic note, as promised.

The salad had green crunchy Romaine and generous shreds of parmesan.

The cookies were crunch and chewy and just salty enough. I had to get another couple.

Maybe next time I’ll remember to take more pictures!

Ordered a Margherita pizza and a beer. Everything was very good. Crust was lovely. Sauce was correct. Mozzarella was rich and yummy. I thought it was unique to see that level of quality in the pizza at a brewery. I could see bringing a big office or work group here, the counter service and large tables would facilitate that

Pretty good. They don’t have Hawaiian pizza on their menu, so that is an instant +1 star for me. Ingredients were fresh and classically made. Definitely would order again.
