Celebrating our 21 years of local ownership serving the Greenwood, Whiteland and New Whiteland areas. Whit’s Inn prides ourselves in serving the freshest quality foods, cold beer and great cocktails. We serve award winning Tenderloins, make our own Italian sausage, cut our own steaks and offset brick oven pizza! We have a huge outdoor deck, which includes a stage and beer garden! I stopped in the get the fish lunch sandwich. I was looking forward to this because they told me it was walleye or cod. I looked at the filet and noticed it was fairly small. So I bite into it, hardly any fish and it was very very fish. I will not be getting this again. My stomach has been upset the rest of the day. I was really looking forward to this today.

Great food. Great place to party if you like loud music. Cigarette smoke is the one thing that spoils it for us when we are eating. Service isn’t so hot sometimes when really busy. Not their fault though. Food is really good though so it makes up for everything. If amoke bothers you, just sit outside to enjoy your meal and drinks. Overall, good choice. We eat there or take out at least once a week.

Great food & drinks and cheaper than any other bar or restaurant that I’ve been in recently. The band was amazing too! Best part, sitting outside on the huge patio, and you can still hear & see the band playing. Wonderful time!

Stopped here for lunch on a weekday. Not very busy at the time, but they were still understaffed. Basically had the bartender holding everything down. The environment there was kinda off a bit. Even on a bright sunny day, it was dark and dreary inside. Also, for those that care, smoking is somehow permitted in here. Could be a deciding factor for some folks. I decided to get the tenderloin sandwich, seeing as how they advertise it as the best Indiana. It wasn’t. It was pretty decent, nothing wrong with it, but it was far from the best. Definitely bun-sized, not the traditional, pounded out, “where’s the bun?” style tenderloin that you should expect from any place in Indiana. In all, not a bad experience, but for the money, Whit’s Inn comes in close to the bottom of my list of places that I would return to.

So disappointing tonight. We have been regulars on takeout since Covid came about. We typically get breaded tenderloin sandwiches and/or burgers. We got one of each tonight and they were both sub-par. The tenderloin was thin and dry and the burger was charred so much I threw it away.
