They have good frozen custard but unfortunately our experiences with them haven’t been great. Two out of the three times we have ordered ice cream cakes from them they have been wrong when we picked them up, and their hours are almost never up to date, so even if you checked their website and Google page to make sure they are open, you may show up and they already closed an hour before anything said they would.

Giving one star for this visit due to the 1/2 scoop and 3 strawberries for $7. Not what I’m used to at Whit’s. Usually it’s overflowing with delicious treats! Very disappointed.

I went into Whits on the 28th about 2pm. There were people in line and only one associate working. She was taking orders, making their orders and filling the machines. When it was my turn I asked her if she was alone in the store…she said yes, she had been alone since 10am. This type of situation is ridiculous…only one associate in the store working hard to satisfy the customers. The associate should not have been alone. If no one else, including the owners, could come in…the store should have been closed and the associate should have been compensated…not the associates fault no one came in to provide support! This type of thing should not happen. I am very disappointed in Whits management/ owners!!!

The ice cream is nothing special but glad it is here. I’d avoid the ice cream sandwiches they have in the front as they are stored too cold and use the wrong type of cookies so they are impossible to eat. They start as hard as a rock, especially the ones with the chocolate cookies, and then warm up into a mushy mess as the cookie doesn’t have any structure and is too dense so your fingers go straight through into the ice cream. It tastes great but they need to fix the recipe to a better cookie.
