I used to live in Kernersville and had frequented this establishment quite a bit. When I go back for appointments, I would stop in. I slowly noticed it wasn’t the same recently, and the last time I stopped in I purchased German Chocolate Cake, which had absolutely no cake. About two months ago, I purchased pistachio ice cream with no pistachios. What’s up with that?

The custard flavors are unique, and it’s fun that there is a flavor of the day/week. However, it is SO frustrating to be looking forward to a treat all day, pull up to the store at 9 PM, and be told they are closing early without editing the store hours written on Google. This has happened more than once. Please just update the times!

This place is the bomb-diggity! Their frozen custard is SOOO delicious! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always check out the flavor of the week. They now have the space beside them so they have a large seating area with one wall that’s an actual art gallery of local talent. Very nicely decorated. There is even seating outside if you wish.

Our experience at Whit’s Frozen Custard was a positive one. The shop is very clean and organized, and everything is clearly and neatly labeled. The team member that was there at the time of our visit was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the business and custard itself. It only took her a minute or two to get our order made, and both creations tasted great- much better than ice cream. I highly recommend visiting this location and shop if you enjoy cold treats or if you happen to have a sweet tooth.

A great place to visit for yummy treats! We love stopping in at Whit’s of Kernersville to try different combinations of frozen custard and toppings. So delicious! We also like to get some pints to take home and gave some as gifts to family recently and they loved the flavors we chose for them.

Great spot for frozen custard. They have special flavors of the day. They also have a great social media presence with a calendar to tell you what flavors are coming. We make plans around the peppermint stick! They have a nice selection of prepackaged flavors too. The parking isn’t great. That’s my only complaint but not bad enough to cancel out a five star review!

Terrible consistency.
I have been getting a large cup vanilla with chocolate chip and then an EXTRA serving of chocolate ships. SAME order every 2-3 weeks on avg for last 3 years
Every order is followed by ‘Can i please get some chocolate chips on the bottom of the cup as well? – to add content uniformity for when I reach the bottom of the cup.
This past week i paid $12. something with tip. After placing so many exact orders, so frequently, with explicit instructions every time, I wonder why I can’t get a consistent product?
Baffles me. I want my ice cream with a certain consistency of vanilla and chocolate chips. I pay for the extra serving and request some chocolate chips at the bottom, so why can I not get ice cream as ordered? Should I say something different because clearly this last order had no chocolate chips in the middle of the cup
When I get what i ordered I am in heaven, when I don’t one can understand how I feel. It is ice cream with one topping. Please provide some consistency is possible.

I got the mint chocolate chip Whittie of the month with the double chocolate cookies and it was phenomenal! The cookies are a perfect, soft, and chewy texture and the custard is so creamy and flavorful. It was a huge ice cream sandwich! I could only eat half and saved the rest for later. My husband got the strawberry shortcake custard, which was also really good!

I like this place fairly well! It was clean. The custard was on point. The staff was very friendly especially the Audrianna one. Everyone was smiling and happy. You can get your custard your way. I would highly recommend Whit’s to anyone after my first visit experience. Give them a try!!!!!!!!!!
