This was our first time eating here, as we were waiting for our tires to be done next door. The lady working was nice, prompt and made sure to check on and check in with every customer that came through the door. Food was brought out super fast, it was hot and delicious coleslaw was cold, tasty, tangy and yum!

The specialty is fried chicken like the ladies at your church used to make, skillfully and deliciously made to order, and here it’s all about the eats. Fine dining it is not: you will find no hostess or maitre d’ here, the ambiance is early 1980’s utilitarian at best, and if you dine in you will be in the minority and using disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins. On the other hand, this is a place that doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. It doesn’t have to. It’s a busy takeout restaurant that happens to have some booths and tables, faithfully serving up quality home style food made from scratch, for regular folks, at reasonable prices. The best time to order is in the off hours, when you will find the hardworking staff on top of their game and easily able to give your order their attention. If you like being called honey, baby, or sweetie by staff, you will feel right at home. Avoid the busy times such as the dinner hour through close on weekends – unless you don’t mind waiting and being a witness to the chaos of a fried chicken high wire act. During the rush times the orders come fast and heavy, the staff is under severe duress, the gravy and the biscuits run scarce, and high drama often ensues. Where is Gordon Ramsay when you need him? But I digress. The fried chicken is still great, and if that’s what you’re after, it’s well worth the trip.

They catered a funeral for my uncle. This is the best chicken ever! Had lots of leftovers, my family had us all take a plate. Warmed a cpl pieces up for my son when I got home, he absolutely loved it! Said it was probably the best chicken he’s ever had!

Hair in my daughters food! Cold and undercooked chicken. I called to explain it to the manger and asked if I could pack up the entire meal and return it. I was treated with such disrespect and the manger was very rude!! NEVER again will we return. Unacceptable service!!

I order food from whites last night and received my food around 830pm i realize it was close to closing time however the principle behind this review is effort and value which were not present. I was disappointed with the chicken sandwich I ordered. It was essentially a thick, bland cutlet with the bone removed, served on a hoagie bun, lacking both flavor and presentation. I expected a well-composed sandwich but instead received something that felt hastily assembled with little attention to detail. I threw the whole sandwich away that meal was completely disappointing and as a paying customer I can no longer invest monetary resources into an establishment that lacks attention to effort and quality of care. With Chick-fil-A coming soon, I’ll be taking my business there. They consistently show they value their customers by delivering well-prepared and visually appealing meals which are consistent in flavor. Whites that Is a menu item you should no longer serve!
