Service was warm and attentive. Meal arrived quickly and was well prepared. Prices are quite reasonable. Restrooms need some work….outdated and could have been done cleaner.

This is a self seat, you can go in and find an open table. It is nice inside. We had such a great experience here. The food is absolutely amazing, everything is made fresh. Our server was fantastic, so nice and she gave us a lot of history of the location. I would recommend checking this place out.

Perfect breakfast spot. Great menu with lots of options with amazing prices. Food was delicious. The omelette was big and had real big pieces of ham in it. The French toast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely homey atmosphere perfect for two or a family. Lots of seating. Definitely recommend. Amazing food and great prices. Parking is around the corner across from the gas station by the laundromat for free. There’s also street parking for free as well.

Try the Eggs Reagan. It’s like a BLT meets Eggs Benedict. Delicious!
They’ve got a few other takes on eggs Benedict as well. Pancakes are good here. They use real maple syrup and you can tell.
Place was busy when we went at 10:30 on a Sunday. Cozy atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. Our waitress, Jayna, was quick to come over and take our order. Very patient with my Mom as she struggled to remember what she wanted in her omelette, which was delicious by the way. I ate the other half
Great home town diner.

Breakfast at the Whitehouse has become a new part of our Saturday routines that we really look forward to! Karen is the sweetest and always on top of everything. The food is consistently good, comes out fast and always prepared correctly! The coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. It is spacious inside and all the staff are always helpful and accommodating. There is a convenient street parking and a lot out back. Definitely recommend the Whitehouse for breakfast any day of the week!

Surprisingly, it’s difficult to find an open restaurant in B’Spa fairly early on a Sunday morning (The Iron Roost was closed for a week, not sure why the Whistling Kettle was closed). We ended up at the Whitehouse. Outside it didn’t look like a great option. But we were pleasantly surprised by the inside. Very clean, larger than we thought, and comfortable seating.
We ordered–hubby got scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. I opted for corn beef has and home fried. When my plate was set down in front of me, I almost pushed it aside. It didn’t look inviting at all. But I decided to give it a go. The potatoes were mushy, watery, and basically flavorless. The hash had absolutely no texture, save the diced potatoes in it. The meat was the consistency of wet mud. This also was flavorless. Not wanting to waste it all, I took great liberty with, and was very thankful for, the ketchup, salt and pepper on the table! Hubby’s eggs were bland but the toast was good. The cook needs to take a trip to flavortown and get some spices, and maybe some onions.
I don’t recommend. Sorry.

Beautiful historical setting, paintings, tin ceiling, lovely atmosphere and very clean. Nice servers and all the breakfasts were delicious, hot, homemade bread, excellent coffee and great prices! Did not feel rushed and had plenty of time for a coffee refill & some chat time! Don’t miss out… you’ll be a return patron for sure!

This restaurant located right in the heart of downtown Ballston Spa, minutes drive from Saratoga Springs, is a delicious, no frills restaurant, serving up breakfast classics. I was in town for the Belmont this weekend and decided to check this place out for breakfast on a Sunday (it had been highly recommended to me). The food was outstanding, the restaurant was very clean, and the service was friendly and attentive all while being filled with locals. The waitress filled my water many times without being asked and made sure everyone at the table always had a full cup of coffee. I ordered scrambled eggs, homefries, and blueberry pancakes- everything was hot and delicious. I especially enjoyed the homefries which were crispy from the grill and came with caramelized onions mixed in. The Italian Toast which the chef bakes daily was outstanding- a MUST TRY. The prices were reasonable and the portions were very filling. Despite the busy breakfast rush, the owners (Karen and David) and the rest of their team were inviting and friendly.
Since every local knows about this place being the best in town, if you are in the area, stopping by is a must. Thank you for a delicious meal, I will absolutely be back.
