Banana tart was nice, tasted caramelized and was pretty light.
Black Forest cake was moist and fluffy.
Been looking for some nice chocolatey deserts and this hit the spot.
This place is neat! You walk in and are basically immediately in an Asian store! We browsed the products before moving on to the patisserie. I asked the cashier what she recommended, and she said the banana cream puff. I got that and my wife got the ube spiral cake.
Both were absolutely delicious, with great texture and overall flavor! Nicely balanced too, not super sweet or rich. And for gourmet baked goods they were reasonably priced
I ordered a cup of roasted flavored coffee, cake, and bread, and my 21-month-old daughter accidentally spilled the coffee all over the floor. I asked a worker, the one with his hair tied up and a beard, for a mop so I could clean up the mess. He reassured me, saying it was okay and that it happens all the time, and he even offered to replace the coffee I spilled. I was really impressed by this. I wanted to tip him, but I didn’t have any cash at the time. If I see him again, I’ll happily give him a tip next time.
The atmosphere was awesome, with places to sit as a group at tables or at a counter, watching the bakers bake. It’s a weird call-out, but their chairs were way more comfy than was I was expecting. Would not mind staying the day in them.
The latte I ordered tasted great, as well as the breads that I got to try: melon pan and cheese pan. Be warned, these two are amazingly sweet!
The staff were super nice & approachable and the baker’s area was fun to watch – especially if you get in early to see them baking and designing pastries.
The bathrooms were oddly enough another highlight of my time. Chalkboard walls were definitely the way to go! Not to mention someone had their time making an amazing wolf portrait (seriously, it as great.)
I’m so excited for their full launch, really hoping to try more food out and get to chill in those comfy chairs once more
