Was craving some pastries and my wife knows how much I enjoy Korean pastries. This place isn’t too far from where we live so we decided to give it a try.
If you have never been to a place like this before it can be a bit confusing on what to do because there are no instruction or anyone helping you know what to do.
Overall, everything we got was excellence and will be back for sure. The prices are reasonable and we our time there.

Had an amazing lunch today. From the lemonade to the pastry options and the amazing shrimp tempura sandwich, everything was so amazing. The staff were so sweet and kind. My friend and I said this will be a regular stop for us.

Walking into White Windmill felt like stepping into a cozy garden café so much greenery and floral decor, I instantly felt like I found my happy place. The space is warm and charming, with a mix of rustic ironwork, cozy lighting, and flowers everywhere. It’s the kind of spot where you want to sit and stay a while.

We came later in the day, so the pastry case was a bit bare (note to self: come early next time), but what we did grab was absolutely worth it. The raspberry-filled croissant was mouthwatering flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. And the fruit tart? Perfectly fresh, light, and the ideal treat to pair with a chick flick at home.

This place is great for grabbing pastries and a drink, or just to soak up the peaceful, artsy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back earlier next time to catch the full pastry spread and maybe snag a window seat under all that natural light.

Great spot for milk tea, desserts, fresh sandwiches. Quality is consistently good and so is the atmosphere.
We got the avocado egg sandwich, back and egg sandwich, honeydew milk tea with popping boba, and the most amazing strawberry custard croissant. Would I recommend this to anyone keen on having a good casual meal

I recently visited White Windmill Bakery & Cafe, and it was an amazing experience! The bakery items were incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. Their coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the tasty pastries. I also tried one of their fresh sandwiches, and it was delightful—made with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the cafe was very pleasant, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, I highly recommend White Windmill for anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere!

This was the 2nd stop on our pastry to-do list while visiting Atlanta. They had a variety of fresh baked breads, cookies, cakes, pies, and fruit tarts. We tried the stuffed croissants and danishes. Everything on display looked delicious and the variety is endless. There is something to please everyone’s sweet tooth.

this place is so beautiful and tastes so delicious, but please get better staff !! they don’t even greet you or tell you thank you , they’re just standing there with a serious face!! Do better costumer service ! just to give a grief description i get there place my items and i tell the both guy employees hi they both continue to talk while charging me for my two items , the guy doesn’t even ask you cash or card he puts the card screen at first and i said “cash” it was $17.17 i HAND him 20 with 17 cents , he walks away for a min and comes back with one’s he pulls out the three dollar and puts it on the table and slide it to me, please change your cashiers cause this is what causes bad reviews on customer service !

After social media has been abuzz with the new White Windmill Buckhead location, it was worth paying a visit to the original Buford Hwy location, which has been a local staple.

Sadly, the Strawberries and Cream Cake was highly disappointing, lacking in berries and primarily consisting of a very light whipped cream. Plus, there was little-to-any sweetness. For the tall price, the slice provided was painfully small, too.

Nonetheless, I particularly enjoyed the Filled Croissant Roll. As it was the last one in the display and sat near the “Red Velvet Croissant Roll” label, I thought it would evoke the classic richness of a red velvet cake. Instead, the exterior icing faintly tasted of tart fruit (perhaps strawberries), and the interior consisted partly of a plain custard tasting lightly of eggs and vanilla. I wonder what type of roll it was meant to be, but objectively, it was decent overall.

With the stale nature of the baked goods, this experience was a disappointment. Even though this location is open until late at night, I would caution against going later in the day when the baked goods are in low stock and have been sitting out for a while.

WARNING!!! If you’re looking to buy a hot drink (coffee, hot chocolate, etc.), this is not the place to go after 8:30 PM.

I recently visited this cafe after 8:30 PM to get something warm to drink and a small bite, since their posted closing time was 11 PM. When I arrived, there were still customers seated, and I even saw others ordering hot drinks. I also watched the barista steaming milk for customers ahead of me, which made me believe I’d be able to order a hot chocolate.

When it was my turn, I asked for a
fish bread, but the barista told me the machine was already turned off. This was surprising, especially considering they close at 11 PM, but I let it go and decided to grab one of the pies on display instead.

What was most frustrating was when I tried to order my hot chocolate and was told the espresso machine was already closed, even though I had just seen milk being steamed less than five minutes earlier. I didn’t realize coffee shops needed to start shutting down machines two and a half hours before closing.

Not wanting to escalate the situation, I ordered a hot tea, which turned out to be the only option available since the hot water machine was the only thing still running. Even then, I had to wait 15 minutes because the baristas started eating dinner during their shift. I had to stand there until they noticed I was waiting so I could finally leave.

Consider yourselves warned, it seems the baristas do whatever they want when there’s no supervision. That said, from opening until around 7 PM (or 8 PM at the latest), the service seems fine.
