The fried mushrooms we had were pretty good, but they lacked depth and seemed like they were only seasoned with salt.
My entree was fine. Not terrible but definitely seasoned sparingly. My friends food was worse, didn’t really taste like much and tasted like it was made days prior.
Service was all over the place and the inside was dingy.
Hopefully this place can turn their food around and get more business. I hate to see a local joint doing poorly but the food really wasn’t good.

Local bar restaurant that was recommended to me. I had the crawfish pie to start, they were good although a little disappointed as the filling to crust ratio is off because there were mini pies. Then I had the browning gold sandwich, a hollowed out french roll stuffed with crab shrimp and crawfish in a creamy Creole sauce. Delicious. Staff were there when I needed them. Met the owner he was an old-timer speaking French Creole.

The parking is horrible, so if you can find elsewhere to park do so.
The staff ( at least two waitresses) were as friendly as could be.
Overall definitely worth your time.

We stop here Friday nights and Sunday lunch en route back and forth to LSU games! The food is always great, the servers are sweet and on top of everything you need and the atmosphere is small town super friendly! They are lucky to have Erin! She’s awesome! Seems she could run the place by herself and speaks positive about the owner and restaurant! You can tell she enjoys what she does! She knows when to get you things and when to give you time without interruption. They do have a great seafood buffet on Friday nights then a home cooked buffet Sundays if you do buffets! It’s good but the menu items are awesome too! See you again in 2 weeks!
