This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food came fairly quickly which was odd since it was barely warm. The appetizer platter was good. My country fried chicken was two overcooked boneless chicken patties covered by a thin brown gravy that was relatively tasteless. The mashed potatoes were fresh but were barely warm. My wife’s chicken parmesan consisted of mostly spaghetti. It had one hockey puck sized piece of chicken on top which appeared similar to mine. It’s possible that their Chinese menu is better but I doubt we’ll be back to find out. Although it’s no fault of the proprietor I should also mention that our experience was somewhat marred by the presence of a loud obnoxious drunk at the next table.

The food was excellent, but they need additional staff. At least 3 for the main dining room and two bartenders. Along with about 7 other families we waited an hour after eating for our checks. That’s way too long. We very easily could have walked out.

Honestly I’ve worked in food service before so it breaks my heart to give such a low rating. I know the place was really busy tonight but I was super disappointed. The drinks were flat, all of them because I tried my husband’s and daughter’s. The Pepsi besides being flat also had that bad dirty pop machine taste. The table we sat at was SO sticky. My daughter ordered a baked potato and got French fries instead. It was incredibly hot and also kind of dark. I totally get that they were busy tonight but all of these things would have happened without being busy.
