Looking at some of the recent reviews they have been good, but as a first-time person therr last evening that was not my experience. I ordered the NY strip – Med, then requested to have a cup of soup as one of my sides with an upcharge, but they don’t offer that which surprised me because most restaurants offer that. The steak came out and it was medium rare. I requested to have them cook it more. The 2nd time it came out it was even more rare. By this time, the other five people in our party were almost done eating and I figured if they couldn’t get a steak right after 2x, I wasn’t going to bother asking them for a 3rd time. I opted to get a creme brulee to go. When I got home I was surprised that it was plopped into a styrofoam container and the topping was so thick, guessing about 1/8 of an inch it’s stuck to my teeth. Anyone that eats this knows that the torch topping is to be very light & delicate and easily cracked with a spoon. Also, when getting this desert to go, most restaurants have this desert in a aluminum container. It looked very unappetizing. Our service was also slow even though the restaurant was not busy and we had to wait for our drinks to be refilled. We were there celebrating a birthday and our bill was well over $200. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish our money would have been spent elsewhere.

We sat in the covered patio area, such a nice break from the heat. The food was simply amazing! The appetizers were big enough for a whole meal or a great split between the table, although they are so good you may not want to share. Price was very reasonable, in fact I thought we got more than our moneys worth. Great place highly recommend!

I’m not from the area but have been here a handful of times. The food is always amazing. The espresso martinis were so good and our server was phenomenal. Wish I could remember her name, but we showed up for the last 30 min of happy hour and she let us know so we were able to get 2 rounds of drinks and a appetizer at half price.

The restaurant is easy to find with street parking available. They were busy but not packed on a Sunday night. The bar below us was REALLY noisy with drinkers, which is the only reason I lowered the stars for “atmosphere.” Stevie was a great server and friendly. He was attentive to our needs without being interruptive. We ordered the surf & turf hot stone which was fun. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the uniqueness of cooking our food at the table. It was simple and we enjoyed this menu option. Restrooms were clean and soap worked, with hot water-bonus! Many restaurants don’t have either! There are several locations (rooms) to select for your reservation. Ours was big and open, which we liked. I recommend White Rose, ask for Stevie’s section.

Outstanding First Experience!

Our first visit to The White Rose Bar and Grill was absolutely memorable from start to finish. The customer service was excellent—starting with the host, who graciously accommodated our seating request and made us feel welcomed right away.

A special shoutout to Shelly, our waitress, who didn’t miss a beat. From her positive encouragement and attentive service to consistently checking in on us, we were truly well taken care of. The food was amazing—our appetizers were so good we almost had no room left for our entrées! Even then, after a few bites, we knew they were too good not to take home.

This is the kind of genuine customer service you don’t come across much these days, and it made our first experience one to remember. Thank you to the entire team—we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is in a great location, in a very beautiful building, but the food and service are at the lowest level. If you are asked how well the meat is done, you don’t have to answer, you will still get a dried out piece of mince. Cold spaghetti, which looks like it was cooked yesterday, can’t be commented on. Luckily, I didn’t get to try all the drinks from the bar, but the one I ordered was terrible, I can’t find any other words. The final disappointment was when the employee decided to open the dirty curtain covering the veranda, right at our table, at the moment when our food was brought. This will be the last place I decide to go to again.

My wife and I went for dinner with great friends. We walked in on. Saturday at 5:30pm without a reservation. We were advised they just sat 6 tables and we were 4th in line. We were sat in under 15 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with the crab cake egg rolls. These were amazing and had. Spicy duck sauce to dip in. That sauce should be bottled and sold!
My wife had the special of a rice bowl with blackened salmon. She said the salmon was perfect and had an amazing flavor.
I had the Chicken Chesapeake. The chicken breast was juicy and not overcooked. The crab cake on top was so large you couldn’t see the chicken breast. My only thing with my meal is I wish they had put more sauce on top. Either way, it was delicious!
I highly recommend!

Went to WhiteRose on a Sunday night to celebrate a wedding anniversary. There was a party going on, so our food took longer to come out, but WOW, was it worth it! We ordered a New York Strip, french onion soup, and The Optimus Prime Burger. Everything was cooked to perfection. However, The Optimus Prime burger was definitely the star of our meal as it’s an actual burger with prime rib slices on top!

Our waitress totally made our night! She was so sweet, personable, and professional! Her Old Fashioneds are amazing! Turns out she’s competed in several bartending competitions! Her skills are evident in her cocktails. If you don’t want to be disappointed, ask to be seated in Liv’s (short for Olivia) section!

The bar area might feel a little chilly if the patio doors are opened. If you plan on sitting here, be sure to bring a light jacket! Parking is not free; metered street parking is available, and there’s also a gated lot behind the restaurant with $2 per hour parking.

Our food was very good and the service was excellent. As for the atmosphere, when they seated us they put us at high rise table and both of us had a hard time getting in chairs. Right after they seated us a hostess noticed we were uncomfortable and asked if we wanted to go to a lower table.
We had to pay to park as it was a Saturday and the Central Market was open, so it was crowded on the street parking

Always a good experience here. The Blackened chicken alfredo is wonderful. I order it regularly. The steamed shrimp is always perfect, never overcooked. We have had burgers, sandwiches and soup. All very good. My 10 yr old cant get enough of the chicken parm.
