If you’re looking for authentic Portuguese treats, White Rose Bakery is a must-visit. The rissóis were outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, savory filling. But the real star for me was the pistachio cannoli; I absolutely fell in love with it! The cream was fresh and the pistachio flavor was spot on. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Fall River.

Its a shame the local police are still boycotting your business after your daughter’s ill-advised rant.

Drove almost an hour to get bread for my daughterinlaw who wanted to make her own stuffing this year and forgot to pre-order. I got way back to end of line and expected the wait….they obviously were all frantically speaking Portuguese and going back and forth and customers were patiently waiting their turns. Their site said they made coffees and had seating but it looked like that area was thrown together and the line of people were against the few tables and so that wasn’t going to be a place to enjoy a real coffee! After 20 minutes or so the lady comes out from the kitchen and announces “NO MORE BREAD” in her loudest voice quite sharply at the crowd and walks back! Now what! Luckily a lady next to me tells me another not so well known bakery to go to and I put into my phone…and sure enough they had 3 giant breads left on their shelf and saved my day and made my daughterinlaw happy! I understand they ran out of bread but she could have said it more politely as she knew she was disappointing a lot of people! And they didn’t plan well in their preparations for holidays.

This is not my favorite bakery in the Riv, but it is a pretty great one, and it’s the closest bakery to my house.
Sundays get there early for fresh malassadas (fried dough with sugar outside that melts in your mouth). It’s hot and fresh and totally worth the 75¢!
I’ve come a few times on a whim hoping to score a loaf of viana bread or another loaf of fluffy fresh bread. And I’ve always seemed to miss it. Definitely call ahead!
Today I needed some type of bread so I ended up getting Portuguese rolls, and at 25¢ a roll you can’t get much fresher and delicious!
I’ve tried their cappuccino before, it’s pretty tasty. And most of their treats are good!
If you are going to pay with a card, there is a $5.50 minimum which can be difficult to reach depending on the treats you’re getting. Super affordable!
