Totally clean, great food and service. Had a cup of their gumbo instead of fries and it was delicious. It was Minnesota spicy in other words spicy without the heat. Their Turkey club sandwich was delicious but I had to take half home it was so big.

Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good service. The best part was the food. Went there for the Valentines Day Sweetheart Dinner. I wasn’t quite sure at first because the food was alittle fancier than I am used to, but the taste was amazing.

This place had more vegetarian items than most in the area, and the food was DELICIOUS. I had the noodle free lasagna which was incredible, a delightful California champagne, and a stellar cheesecake. We were also visited by a cute chipmunk which made the night.

The staff was very friendly & welcoming! We came in on snowmobiles unsure if it was too fancy for our attire. As we peeked around the corner, we were greeted with several employees telling us we were more than welcome in our snow gear. I really hope more people check it out as they’re open year round now!!!

Great food. Friendly staff. Had the brussel sprouts and prime rib wontons for appetizers then had monk fish and prime filet for dinner with a bread pudding for dessert. Was spendy, but I don’t mind paying for good food and service! Nice surprise near us. We’ll be back.

We stopped by tonight to check out the new winter menu and had an all around wonderful meal!! The jalapeño popper app was FANTASTIC…homemade, perfectly crispy bacon wrapped around savory cream cheese. Omg. Can’t wait to go back for that app alone! We then had the bistro filet and the steak was done perfectly, flavorful and tender and seriously delicious, accompanied by a gigantic twice baked potato which was good and cheesy. The wait staff was excellent and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the new chef. A new cocktail menu is in the works and combined with their interesting food menu, this is a place to check out. There’s not much else nearby so it’s really exciting that Ruttger’s is being revamped. White Oak is an excellent start! We are so appreciative to have you open during the winter. I could see this being a great spot for a drink and apps happy hour (hint, hint). In any case, get over there and try it! We will be back soon to check out the burger!

First impression walking through the entry was nice other than a black track of dirt on the carpet to the dining room-calling into question how clean the dining room and kitchen might be. Nice views with big windows overlooking a pond and fairways. First annoyance-the table wobbled more than one inch…. That should be checked every morning. Nothing worse than drinks spilling and food flopping around when trying to cut it.
Drinks arrived first- lemonade in a plastic cup and a can of beer- had to ask for a glass for the beer. No water even offered although wRer could be seen on other nearby tables. Open face steak sandwich and thick potatoe chips ( described as fries, but no, I don’t think so. The Cobb salad looked like the lettuce and fixings were prepared earlier in the day- if not the day before and covered with plastic wrap. Big old white core of the lettuce buried in the salad; the blue cheese dressing looked like translucent goop from some generic food service; a few chicken slices no more than 3 ozs was the protein on the salad other that rubbery, grissely pieces of bacon.
Another place crossed off my bucket list . Have a cabin nearby but would happily drive 3-4 times farther in hopes of finding a better meal. That shouldn’t be too hard. My recommendation- a hard pass.
Ordered a craft beer and she slides a can onto the table… had to ask for a glass.
