Valentines Day, reservations required. This was so fun!! We choose to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, which so happens to also be Valentine’s Day, at White Castle. The restaurant was decorated with hearts, balloons, decorated tables even included a candle. It was adorable We were warmly greeted at the door by staff. We were then seated at a cute table. All the staff were dressed in red and hearts. Smiles galore. We were offered a special printed Valentines menu. We enjoyed the table service, such a nice touch. When I made the original reservation, I included the comment that we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. To our surprise the staff went out of their way to treat us to a bottle of sparkling juice served in champagne glasses. What a lovely touch!!! They really made our dinner extra special. We dined on cheese sliders, onion chips, shrimp nibbles, fish nibbles and chocolate shakes. Everything was fresh hot and perfectly cooked. Yummy !!!

I don’t expect fine dining from White Castle, but basic respect would be nice. When my order was ready, the manager called it out by saying, “whatever your name is, your order is ready.” That’s not a joke, not friendly, and definitely not professional. It set the tone for the whole experience and made me feel like a nuisance instead of a customer. Fast food is fast, sure, but it shouldn’t come with an attitude. I won’t be back if this is how customers are treated.

White Bear Ave location. Burgers were perfect. Sat inside where the restaurant was clean, the service was great, and the food was delicious. But…. the prices have gone WAY UP! WOW! I love the little sliders, but I won’t be paying the price again anytime soon. That’s why I gave it 3 stars.

I love White Castle and the food is good. But this store is really, really slow, especially the drive thru. I think they take and complete only one order at a time. The last two times I got in line with like two people in front of me it took about 15 minutes to get to the speaker. I don’t go there for lunch anymore because I’ll be late getting back to the office.

Okay, I’m being honest… It’s White Castle Come On giving 5 Stars… Really!?!? But, Here’s the thing… The Staff is great, the dine area in is ckean … It was economical for 3 adults under $30 so I’m giving 5’s for ALL three areas because I’ve also been to the White Castle off University Avenue by The Capital off Rice Street(?) and the two places are way different but, gotta give staff on University Avenue 5 Stars because the Train that was supposed to bring big business just hasn’t its brought more problems…

I asked for 2 chicken sliders, and please don’t over cook the chicken, I don’t want any burn on it, with pickles only. You could tell the meat was already precooked, not fresh, it still took wait time and it was burnt, I just handed it back n said I don’t want it, I aak for not burn on it. 3 place I can go n get what I want hennepin, Rice in St. Paul n fridley. Why do they over cook the chicken paddles? Not everyone likes over cooked food, cheese or mayo.

We had a reservation for Valentine’s day. We sat there for 15 minutes while others who arrived later got service first. After fifteen minutes of no service we got up and left. The plastic table cloth was greasy and had crumbs from previous customers. No candle on the table. I know it’s just a white castle but I expect more when they go through so much to put the event on.

Friendly staff (even at 1:00 AM) got our order perfect and even color-coded the boxes so we could easily tell which burgers had extras (added mustard) and which were normal. Fast prep, served hot, absolutely delicious.

Pretty much what you would expect from a White Castle. 🙂 The lobby could have used some attention with cleaning and supplies, but the food was White Castle perfect and the employees were friendly and fast!

Although the food was a bit off during my visit, I have to highlight the amazing customer service I received. The woman working at the register is ALWAYS incredibly kind and welcoming. She truly embodies what great customer service should look like—friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. It’s refreshing to see someone who takes pride in their work and makes customers feel valued. She’s a shining example of what every customer service employee should strive to be. It’s clear that customer service is alive and well, thanks to people like her!
