Helps to go with a guide or someone who knows the staff. We had a pleasant experience here with our guide.
Hands down best Greek salad! The cheese is so rich and creamy. Melts in your mouth. Wonderful fresh fish, prawns, sardines, fresh ingredients.
This was a very nice stop after a long day of touring.

I had an amazing experience at this seafood restaurant! The place has beautiful Greek-inspired vibes, with stunning décor and a relaxing atmosphere right by the sea. The view alone is worth the visit, especially during sunset.

The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Every dish was full of flavor, and the presentation was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.

If you’re looking for delicious seafood, great service, and a charming Greek ambiance by the water, this is definitely the place to be. Highly recommended!

Portion of salad and shell platter were two small compare to manytime we visited this place, taste of fish and presentation quality is away from what we used to have in this place. For sure it is our last time to go , quality is changed. We would rather visit any other fish resturant on promenade with similar or even better view with more alexandrian taste and wouldn’t pay fourtne

Love it – every bit. You can pick from the fresh catch of the day, the scene with the fishing boats and all Alexandria bay is another dimension so highly recommend sunset dinners there. The alcohol is fairly priced and the service is top notch. Best place hands down to get a super nice meal in Alex.

My favourite fish meal in all of Egypt with the best views and always friendly staff.
Food recommendations: grilled fish (my favorite is Denise aka sea bream), renga salad, cheese croquettes, Greek salad, clams and much more

This is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly. The food was fantastic – super fresh fish perfectly cooked aswell as Greek sides and salads. The eggplant was amazing and the beetroot salad. Lovely fresh bread. The views are wonderful, right over the harbour towards the city. And they have a big terrace with outdoor tables. Don’t miss this place. I managed to get a table for a late lunch but most tables were reserved so it’s best to book.

A timeless treasure by the sea – White and Blue Greek Club, Alexandria

Thanks to my wonderful tour guides from Footnotes Alexandria, I was introduced to the Blue and White Greek Club – and I couldn’t be more grateful. Tucked along the coastline, this restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking views in Alexandria. Sitting here feels like a quiet embrace from the city’s Mediterranean soul.

The staff were incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived, making the experience feel truly special. The seafood selection is absolutely staggering – a paradise for anyone who loves the ocean’s offerings. I chose the Alexandria catched prawns, along with crab and mussels. The kitchen even fulfilled my special request to have the mussels steamed in white wine – a beautiful touch.

A special thank you to Elias, the manager, who took care of us with warmth and genuine hospitality.

For those looking to connect with Alexandria’s Greek-Italian-British heritage, this is the perfect spot. In fact, sitting here, I couldn’t help but think of my great-grandparents – who came to this spot and dined in this very place. Some traditions are simply worth holding on to.

Pretty slow service, didn’t have several items on the menu, fish was good but chicken dish terrible quality. Local teenagers hanging outside the restaurant trying to force beads onto anyone.

I visited White & Blue restaurant at the Greek Club Alexandria with my parents on Friday, January 16th. I’m beyond disappointed with my experience at this establishment.

We didn’t have a reservation and were told to wait for outdoor seating to be free, which is normal. However, they were snappy when we asked if there was available seating a while later. We were promptly given an outdoors table after ordering wine.

Later, we were asking about a forgotten plate that we ordered, a shrimp tajin. We were told by the maitre d’hotel (a guy in a black suit with glasses) “Do you still want it? I don’t want to start it then for you to tell me you’re full.” It was said in a condescending tone that implied my mother was talking to me rather than a server at a restaurant. This was said to 3 adults instead of offering an apology!!

I’m an Egyptian from Cairo. While I’m a tourist in Alexandria, this is still an establishment in my country. I would love for it to flourish, just not by treating us like second class citizens.

I’d like to also point out that our waiters were beyond respectful and this is not meant to shame them or affect their livelihood.
