Disclaimer: while I’m writing this my daughter gave me a 1⭐️for the pancakes I just made so this is not to make anyone look bad, it’s just an observation!
I said before, it’s cute and nostalgic. I’ve only ever had a salad from here which is great. I decided to get biscuits and gravy on my way to work and it was just not, it. Extremely runny and minimal seasoning. The biscuit couldve been baked a smidge longer. As far as atmosphere- I would not bring a toddler in here. It’s cluttered. Tables are oddly placed as you walk in, and there’s a small alleyway to place your order. I also mentioned on another post, there are at least 6 students in the barista area, why? The drink I ordered didn’t get made any faster.
is this supposed to resemble a train station?
They’re all kind, it’s just too much happening in here.

Cute and cozy very nostalgic right. I’ve only ever had a salad from here but I stopped by to grab biscuits and gravy one morning. Maybe in a rush maybe just their recipe but extremely runny gravy. Like water consistency. It wasn’t prepackaged but it def needs some work. 6 students in the barista area at one time, it’s a lot going on in there.

Look, I really wanted to like this place. The decor, the environment, everything about it is so cute and cozy. They have done an amazing job creating a beautiful space.

I’ve gone about 7 or 8 times now and I refuse to go back again. Every single time ive gone the coffee has been terrible. Whether it’s a latte or just regular drip coffee. The drip coffee is either really burnt or sometimes just cold.

On top of that I have never had good service. The baristas always seem to be in a terrible mood and always make it feel wrong to be there. Like your existence is a problem. I try and be pleasant, ask how they’re doing, and just be kind but it has never been reciprocated. I work in customer service myself and I feel like even the bare minimum is not met. I understand it can be a very intense fast paced environment for them, and I know the store can be really busy but that is no excuse to not be a human being back.

Finally they’re cups just suck. The lids never actually do their job for hot or iced drinks. I thought it was a fluke but now that it’s happened everytime ive gone I can not ignore it anymore. Everytime I get to my destination this is what my cup looks like. My friends cups look the same too which really sucks. This last time I got hot coffee all over my leg.

I really more than anything wanted to like this place but I can’t. By far and away the worst coffee shop in lees summit. As much as I want to support small local businesses, id rather go to pretty much anywhere else than here.

First visit. Jammy Tomato avocado toast was delicious. I loved the flavors, it has a LOT of avocado! Not a complaint, just fair warning if you don’t happen to like things sauce-y? Not sure how else to describe that. LOVED the German chocolate Mocha latte. Good service, very busy so seating is probably limited at peak times.

I got the Dubai chocolate pistachio coffee. It looks nothing like the picture nor does it taste like it. It tastes like burnt coffee. I’m really sad about this bc I really wanted to like it.

Visiting downtown Lee’s Summit from out of state and found this cute little coffee shop. Very good coffee, nice selection of teas and herbal infusions. The Spinach Artichoke Panini and Club Salad were both excellent. Had a little snafu with our order and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Truly excellent customer service. We may be back in the morning!

Nice place to warm up during a winter walk through the holiday-lit downtown area. I thought the prices were a little high, but hey, it’s a nice place in downtown Lee’s summit, andb I’m sure their rent is high cost too. Happy to support a local shop! I tried their Maple pecan latte with half and half. A limited time seasonal flavor. It was like having a piece of pecan pie and coffee at the same time, delicious. I’ll go back.

I’m visiting from Florida with my mom and we were looking for colada and found this donut place by the tracks. Let me tell you by far the best workers there and they are genuinely amazing even with having a little side talk. Best experience and also the atmosphere when you first open the door is welcoming like your going to a family friends house but you don’t anyone just warm vibes.

Took 6 mins for the sandwich and 7 for the coffee. The Terminator Sandwich was fire and flavourful! Coffee was the Apple Fritter latte and it delivered.

What a gem! Great local coffee and breakfast, pastries, or a snack. Staff is awesome. Shopping in the area is great as well so you can grab a cup and stroll the independent shops downtown or catch the Amtrak across the street!
