A cozy little hole in the wall with great food! Naturally, we had Fried Green Tomato Appetizers… amazing! Then, for dinner, my husband had a burger and fries, which he loved. I had their special, tuna casserole. I have never had tuna casserole at a restaurant and was unsure, but let me say again… amazing! The price was just right, the service was speedy and the people were friendly. I would go back again!

Excellent stop for breakfast! This place is almost like a step back in time. I arrived early on a Saturday morning and looked on with amazement. Everyone knew everyone! There was constant conversation and laughing. It felt like a huge family having a family reunion. Aside from the amusement the food was amazing. I had the blueberry pancakes and they did not disappoint. I ordered two but was unable to finish this generous portion. I also had linked sausage that were cooked perfectly. If you are ever in this area do yourself a favor and try the whistle stop you won’t be disappointed!

From the outside one would not expect to find such a hidden gem inside. The restaurant was clean, the servers were all friendly and the prices were reasonable. When we arrived on a Sunday at 12:30 all the tables were full so we sat at the counter. There was a constant flow of customers coming in. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took a long time to get our food, they ran out of the dressing that went with the special my husband ordered and the portions on the special were small. I had a veggie omelette which was excellent. This may have just been an unusual day.

The restaurant was very busy so I wondered how the service would be. I do not remember the name of our waitress, however, she was AWESOME! SHE HAD A Lot of tables as the place was packed, yet she was as calm and cool as could be. The food was excellent! Bacon, Eggs & Hashbrowns were COOKED TO PERFECTION. I will make this a monthly stop!

My first time to eat there. I had breakfast. They give large portions, the food was hot, and served with a smile. The price was reasonable considering the cost of food these days. The reason for 3 stars on atmosphere is the outside of the restaurant needs to be updated and more inviting.

I was completely blown away! The food was AMAZING! We got the appetizer sampler, fried green tomatoes, grilled cheese burger, and the BBQ bacon burger, and everything was INCREDIBLE!!! PLEASE, go get some amazing grub at a unbelievable price!
