My wife and I are dinner here tonight and was quite disappointed. It was very busy so we do understand that the service was lacking, but the food was not up to Par as it always has been. My biggest complaint was , when I order ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH, it should include all you can eat besides just catfish. I was told that the sides were NOT all you can eat. That is crazy, you would have thought it included everything.

It was a very nice treat. I stopped in for a quick lunch and saw the sign for fried green tomatoes. They were amazing. I tried a little bit of everything they had on the menu. I honestly have to say I am very very funny about my food. Everything was completely seasoned to perfection. I will be going back soon and reviewing everything in depth. The service and prices were great. I would recommend.

Only one star because I can’t put 0. This place use to be so good. The menu is outdated and they are unable to serve over half the menu. We were able to order what we wanted because of this. What we did order was over cooked. Shrimp and a fried pork chop. None of it had any seasoning. None. No salt, pepper. Anything. The only thingnthat was half decent was the $3 mac and cheese my daughter ordered. And thats because it came out of a damn box. Then when we complained that the food was awful they offered a 20% discount when the only person that ate was 6yr. We spent $50 with the discount on food we didnt even get to eat because it was disgusting.

Got there right at 12:00 barely an hour after they opened, they were out of fried green tomatoes, and fried pickles. The server acted put out when taking our drinks, but she ended up being alot better, and provided decent service. The food was good, above average I’d say, and the ribs were amazing. Dissapointed we couldn’t have the “world famous” fried green tomatoes, or the burger options that had them on the burger. That’s actually the main reason we drove almost an hour out of our way to eat there….

We are traveling and found this place on Google maps . My husband had the ribs and he said they were wonderful. I had the catfish. It was also wonderful. At door there is a little bit of a smell but once inside it was a great little local place.

I will preface by saying this place is definitely popular among the locals. There was a line out the door. I, however, am not a fan of fake gravy or dismissive waitresses.
This man in front of us was seated well before us. He didn’t have a drink yet, but he already ordered it and his food. The younger girl was his waitress. He kept asking her about his food, she ignored him to begin with, then finally answered, “I don’t know.” He got up to go to the restroom, and she gave his table away to two ladies. He came out and told the ladies it was his table, and they were adamant that the waitress said it was theirs. They finally gave it back to him. Our waitress came out and gave him a drink and informed him they forgot to put his order in.
It was busy, yes, but that doesn’t excuse poor behavior to your customer. Especially if you’re still expecting a tip.
I got the hamburger steak. The gravy I pushed off, the patty tasted like those pre made frozen patties.
Yes, things are expensive for the restaurant world. Not every restaurant can do fresh. But his is a personal review.
I say try it, ya might like it. Like i said in the beginning. It is a very popular lunch spot.
