An impulsive decision to stop at a local establishment in Hawley MN, brought us to this absolutely charming place. We were blessed to have Cher as our waitress she is as fun and real as it gets. They offer breakfast all day long, one in our party had eggs Bennie said it was awesome. Our wraps and BLT’s were large and delicious. It was so good we are coming back on our way back home in a week.

Ate here after a long morning in Fargo. Was perfect distance to stop on our ride home. Small Cafe, cozy, crowded if full. Does have overflow seating, but like everywhere was short staffed. We were able to be seated fairly quickly for busy lunch time. Food came quickly after ordered. Coffee was good. Food was delicious-Cajun sauce over hasbrowns, vegetables, and over-medium eggs. My 5 year old got pancakes. Bacon was crisp. Staff was super friendly. If you are in Hawley or driving through they have a variety of foods on the menu, reminds me of home cooking. If you live in Hawley and are bored, they could use some help, even if just a couple hours during busy meal times.

Cozy, small town Cafe feel. Traveling through and found on my phone. Good breakfast menu and very tasty. My husband loved the spicy Cajun breakfast. Very friendly and efficient waitress. I’m sure we’ll stop again.

Best place for breakfast in the surrounding Detroit Lakes area. Home style cooking that comes to you relatively quick, usually great, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. I’ve only been here once where we had to wait for seating and that didn’t take forever. Hand dryer could definitely use an upgrade. Sometimes the music in the kitchen is meh but if the workers are happy, that’s all that really matters! ☺️

Stopped for first time, heard they had good food. Walked in and one of the waitresses was by the door. She looked at us and walked away. There was no sign that said please wait to be seated and the waitress said nothing. After a bit my husband and i took 2 menus and sat at a table. We were reviewing the menu and waiting for a waitress. The waitresses walked by a few times, stopping at every table but ours. After a while we said forget it and left. We will never go back. You should ALWAYS acknowledge your customers.

Ordered steak bites breakfast and got a burger patty. Hot chocolate was good. The hashbrowns did not taste anything like hashbrowns. The eggs even with salt and pepper recieved no flavor. The atmosphere was very dark inside with poor lighting. Seating is more towards large families and have little to no tables for just 2 people. Staff was very friendly and would occasionally check up on us.

Great little local diner! Exactly what you expect from a small town diner. Excellent and friendly service and fantastic classic diner food!! Loved the knoefla soup, the perfect comfort food on a cold winter day. Also had the honey mustard chicken wrap with the cup of soup. The wrap was excellent!! And the fries and ketchup on the side was classic diner fries. The aesthetic and atmosphere was a bit dark and could use an upgrade, but with the food and service as great as it was it is easy to overlook. Highly recommend you stop by when in Hawley, MN!
