We went out for a New Years dinner and I had the “Big Boy” prime rib. Absolutely delicious. It is a massive cut of meat and you will want to bring your “A-team” appetite… or take some home! The service was exceptional and my coffee cup was always full. Getting there early is a must because they fill up fast. This was arguably the most expensive item on the menu but hey, once a year it was certainly worth it!

Prime rib…ordered SEARED and medium, quite possibly the best prime rib I’ve had. About $20 cheaper than our second favorite in Green Bay at Rivers bend. Salad bar is better than average with a lot of red and green leaf lettuce servers are attentive and friendly.

All the locals rave about this place. However, our experience was less than pleasant. From a small sirloin that was rare on one end and charred on the other to a the big daddy prime rib that was ordered medium and came rare, but was still tough as leather. The waitresses hardly talked to us and they weren’t even very busy. We would rate the salad bar a 8/10 though.

Just some of the items you can get at Whistle Stop, formerly the Eagle’s Nest. Baby Back Ribs with Donna’s Famous Sauce, 12oz Ribeye & a “Broasted” Pork Chop with a twice baked potato. :0)

Passing through on our way home to Menomonie, WI. Absolutely delicious. My husband and I love Supper Clubs and so glad we went. I had steak and was cooked perfect. He had the Ribs and fall off the bone. Highly recommend.

What an awesome supper club! They were very friendly and the salad bar was fresh and delicious. The prime rib was amazing! The prices were great as well for the portions they served. It was a fantastic dining experience, and we hope to make the trek back someday!

Pros: Food was well seasoned/prepared. Lots of appealing menu items. Nice variance of items at the salad bar. It’s good supper club type food.
Cons: Atmosphere is nothing to get excited about. Service was okay.
I’d stop again if i was in the area.

Slow service from the beginning. Ordered prime rib, after 25 minutes they came to tell me they were all out… So I ordered a ribeye. The two ribeyes were ordered medium rare & rare. Both were cooked very well done, no flavor either. Steak was terrible. Told waitress they were not cooked to order and not even a sorry. One customer told me not to be upset I didn’t get the prime rib, because it was also bad.

Always a great dining experience here. Salad bar is great, and I’ve never had a bad experience with anything on the menu. The staff and owners are super friendly. A welcoming atmosphere, for sure.

We had our 50th HS Class reunion at the Pullman Center, and it couldn’t have been better.
