Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Meats are gluten free and they even have vegan options. Getting the bibimbap in the hot bowl is a must! Stays hot the whole meal and the rice at the bottom gets crispy! Totally recommend!

I did not expect to find such excellent Korean food in a small town like Bozeman, but I was pleasantly surprised!
There are so many vegetarian and vegan options ❤️. I loved my high-protein vegetarian bibimbap, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken bibimbap. The hot stone bowl kept everything perfectly sizzling—exactly what you want on a cold day.
The banchan was unique and flavorful, with the pickled garlic being my absolute favorite. Their house sake was delicious, and the barley tea was a wonderfully distinctive and refreshing touch.
Highly recommend this place to everyone!

We were visiting from out of state and so glad we stopped here for dinner! We eat a lot of korean food locally and this restaurant was spot on. Staff was wonderful, restaurant was very clean, and food was great. Next time we visit the area we’ll definitely try to stop here again.

So good! Best meal in Bozeman. I was visiting from Glendive & had to stop. So worth it. I lived in Daegu for a bit so I was really excited to try & I brought along a friend who had never had Korean food before. She loved it. We ordered Banchan (all delicious, especially the garlic), Bulgogi Kimbap (I meant to save this to take home but ended up eating half), pork Mandu (so crispy), kimchi bimibap (yum!!!), and bulgogi bimibap (perfect!). We also had wine, beer, and of course soju. Naturally I had to buy a zipup hoodie as well because it was such a great experience. We got to chat with our wonderful server & even with Emma and Ross themselves. Delicious meal & excellent atmosphere!!

Five years ago, my now-wife (fiancée at the time) introduced me to a little spot tucked away in Bozeman called Whistle Pig Korean. She has family in the area, and on one of our first visits together, she insisted we stop by. “You have to try the Bibimbap,” she said with that knowing smile. I didn’t know it then, but that meal would be the start of a tradition that would grow deeper with every visit.
Since then, we’ve made three trips back to Bozeman—and every single time, Whistle Pig has been at the top of our itinerary. The Korean wings are always a standout—crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. And the Bibimbap? Still just as soul-nourishing as that first bite years ago. It’s the kind of food that fills you up in more ways than one—fresh, vibrant, and made with an unmistakable love for the craft.
Chef Emma is truly something special. Humble, yet immensely talented, she’s built a menu that’s honestly worth crossing the country for. (Seriously—go watch her on the latest season of Chopped if you need proof.) And Ross, her husband and co-owner, brings a warm, welcoming energy that makes the whole place feel like home. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the food and the people are equally unforgettable—but Whistle Pig manages to do just that.
This year was our most meaningful visit yet. We brought our newborn son, Henry, for his very first Whistle Pig experience. He may not remember it, but we’ll never forget the feeling of introducing him to a place that’s become such a cherished part of our story. It felt like coming full circle.
To Emma, Ross, and the entire Whistle Pig crew—thank you for the incredible food, the warm hospitality, and the memories we’ll carry with us forever. We’ll see you next time we’re in Bozeman!

Woke up way too early while in Bozeman for vacation and decided to take a walk downtown to get some coffee. Noticed this restaurant along the way and decided that I needed to come back that evening. Dang, I’m glad I did. The dolsot bibimbap was so delicious. Especially since it was a cooler June night in Montana. I wanted to eat there every night, it was so good! Service was amazing. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Bozeman check it out.

Food is amazing! Best Korean in Bozeman for sure. I highly recommend the milk bread buns. I loved the Japchae and Beef Bulgogi. My husband got the Dak Bulgogi and it didn’t have a lot of flavor but what you could taste was good and with the spicy sauce it was yummy. It is a small restaurant so it is pretty loud at times and hard to talk. Definitely going back!

A happy and pleasant place to taste Korean food. the festive atmosphere, the friendly and attentive staff. the flavors at their point of balance. very nice. I will definitely return once again. Be sure to try the Hucklberr ice cream and the Kinchi cookies.
