What a great lil gem on the square. Ambiance for days. Good food. I think my egg whites on my fried eggs were whisked a bit. Nice touch! Murals inside are amazing too. Definitely recommend.

We stopped for lunch on our way home from visiting family in Dallas. I picked this place because the reviews all said the chicken fried steak was “the best they ever had”. I love a good chicken fried steak. Unfortunately, they were all out of chicken fried steak, BUT my husband and I went with the chicken fried chicken instead and it was amazing! The crust was perfection. The fried okra was top notch too. I could live without the mashed potatoes though. The reason for the four stars is because the service could use some improvement. We had three different waitresses and they were all very sweet, but it just didn’t seem like everybody was on the same page. The drink order wasn’t right and we didn’t get our rolls initially. Overall, I would come back when we come visit family again though and I would recommend it.

We came here for a family breakfast. There was a wait to get seated, but that is to be expected on a Saturday morning. The place was very crowded, but the staff were attentive and we never had to worry about refills. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious.

Great environment to meet friends and family for brunch. The people were friendly and down to earth. The place was a little smaller than expected, but by the afternoon it wasn’t too busy. The coffee and food were delicious. The big yummy fluffy pancakes had good flavor even without syrup. It was a little more expensive for breakfast, but had so much to take home as well. I will be going back for sure.

The food here is so good!! I have a little book I bought that has favorite cafes to eat around Texas and this place is listed. They serve breakfast until they close at 2 pm. We got there about 11 am on a Saturday. We had a wait of about 15 minutes. We both chose breakfast food since we hadn’t ate yet that day. They serve big portions at a reasonable price. The ambiance of the place is also great! There are 2 ceiling fans that are attached by a pulley motor on the light between them which is really cool. They are on both sides of the room.

Food is always delicious and the service is great every time! Gets pretty busy on weekends so be ready for a small wait but you will not be disappointed one bit. Alexis always takes care of my wife and I when we go but overall the entire staff is super friendly and helpful!

We didn’t get to eat. There isn’t alot of sitting space and they seem really popular. There really isn’t an area to even wait so we went to a different restaurant. I liked the atmosphere tho . Maybe we will be able to go back and try the food.
