So I was wandering around Disney property, doing some monorail bar hopping, and I decided to start my day with breakfast/brunch at the Whispering Canyon! Getting to the resort on the boat was a nice ride that I had never done before, actually, and then winding through the forest to get to the cafe was fun, too.

Great BBQ food in a very good setting at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. All means are excellent with dinner featured here, typified with the all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets. If you have multiple people ordering skillets then try a few different ones – the vegetables and meats will have variety of into sharing. It does get loud at times with the staff encouraging kids to shout for ketchup or other playful noise. If you like it quieter then request a seat in the back by the fireplace, it is much calmer.

We LOVE Chris! This restaurant has always been a firm favourite of ours as avid Disney fans but our experience this trip was superb! Our waiter Chris was fantastic; he’s a perfect example of what being a Disney cast member is all about! He played instruments, told us jokes, got involved in the shenanigans and was overall just brilliant! The food was great, the quinoa cakes a resounding favourite. 5/5!
