Based on Google reviews, we decided to try this place before heading back to Metro Detroit. Promptly greeted and seated. The waitress was friendly and informative as well as the owner. Tried the potato croquettes. You don’t see these appetizers often. They were excellent. Two of us indulged in the butter beef sandwiches, one had wings and chili, and one tried the brazed short rib pot pie. All 4 of us enjoyed our selections very much. For dessert, it was bananas foster and it was outstanding! Credit to the owner for providing a narrow menu offering. It’s easier to serve up exceptional fresh food when your menu selection isn’t all over the map. As for cleanliness… Their glassware and silverware was the cleanest we have seen. The waitress said they polish it. That kind of attention to detail was not overlooked by the four of us. To the owner and staff, we thank you for a superfantastic first impression. See you again soon!

This is a cool local small restaurant. It has good vibes and a very limited menu. We both ordered roast beef and neither one of us really cared for the taste. The nachos had some interesting toppings but overall where the star of the show. I originally wanted the Reuben but they were sold out. I think I would try this place again and just stay away from the roast beef. It wasn’t bad by any means it just wasn’t my cup of tea. The owner was very friendly as well.

There was a wait on a Saturday, about 20 minutes for a table of 3 and it was worth it! The place gets busy, and seating can be tight around this time. Once you’re seated the service is fantastic, our food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite!
The server also provided excellent customer service. If I am in the area, I will be sure to visit again!

The atmosphere is amazing. Updated yet still a bit old school. I think it’s from all the wood they used. The staff is amazing! And the menu …. Good luck choosing your meal as there are SOOOOO many great choices. And the drink i posted, Jameson with a pickleback .. A SINGLE. Also, the owner is a hands on, have always seen him on the floor. The music is also great. Not too loud but just perfect so that you can talk over your table.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time. Very happy with my visit. Slight wait for a table but it is a small place. The menu isn’t overwhelming and makes deciding easier. My whiskey sour was perfectly tasty. The double cheeseburger I had was one of the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the quality beef,use of pickled onions just excellent. Fries nice and crisp. Wait person was attentive and checked in with me quickly. I’ll definitely be back as it would be a great casual date night spot.

Great experience! I had a double cheeseburger, super juicy smash burger, fries are not fresh cut but they are good. My wife had a Reuben, she really liked it, but loved my burger and would probably get that next time. Drinks were good and service was on point. Owner is friendly and came by to check on us a couple times and also thanked us when we left. Class act. Definitely one of our places from now on!

Smashed bacon cheeseburger was very flavorful and sweet potatoes fries were delicious. Blanco mama drink was also strong and delicious. It’s a nice and clean place but a little dark and the music was a little too loud.
