There was this empty old cantina looking place for years sitting here and the new owners have made a great little stop. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Service has always been good after several times trying it. Nice sized indoor dining room, bar area, newly expanded outdoor beer garden. Worth the drive from wherever.

Apparently the place has been here for 50 years. Been closed for the last 11. Excellent location for a cruise or motorcycle ride. Then you’re rewarded with cold drinks generous pours and excellent food. They have a small patio, a few gambling machines, a nicely laid out dining area or you can just belly up to the bar. A friend once told me you can’t go wrong with the special, so that’s what I had and it was excellent. Best green beans I’ve ever eaten. Chicken fried steak didn’t require a knife to cut. Food prices are average drink prices a little above but still not outrageous.

My husband got the loaded nachos. I got the loaded tamales. We split an order of seasoned fries. The service was fast and friendly. The food was flavorful and delicious. The bar has my favorite Salted Caramel Whiskey stocked. This place it the best!

Nice to have new options. Happy to see this place open and hope they succeed. Since it’s a new start I’ll give them some time and try the food again. I had a Breaded Pork Tenderloin which was small, really didn’t have much flavor and the coating was not crispy. It was served with the house chips. The menu does have some other.

On one of our rainy days camping, we decided to eat out at Whiskey Ridge Saloon. When walking into the saloon, we were greeted with a very welcoming experience by Megan. The saloon was everything I look for when dining. The cleanliness, atmosphere, waitress and the food. Tom and I both had the pork tenderloin sandwich which came with homemade chips. The tenderloin breading was flavorful and cooked crispy, good job chef. The homemade chips were the best I’ve ever had. I would very much recommend this restaurant, and I believe you will not be disappointed.

This was a very good experience . The service was superb the food was amazing . Good down home atmosphere would and will frequent this establishment. Anyone reading this needs to frequent the whiskey ridge. It’s a business starting ou. And show your support and enjoy the food and drinks. Oh and by the way the bartender Megan she’s crazy but she’s the best bartender I’ve ever seen. She’ll make u laugh she’ll make u cry. And you won’t ever have to worry about an empty Glass.
