Never judge the book by its cover. I love to challenge myself with new dishes everywhere I go and this time i have been craving salmon. I’m picky about it, I was wondering if I’d like it and by all means this salmon dish was delivered and delightful. Second time here first time I had wings. So good. Fries are the best. Done to perfection and the atmosphere is a plus. Sunday game day here at the whiskey mill is a must. Thank you for an amazing service.

We have always loved whiskey mill but never realized they had two locations. We tried out this one tonight and it was delish. The wings are a must have when you come (Texas Pete mild to be exact) and the pretzel burger will forever be my favorite. The server was very nice and attentive no matter how busy she was. The bar was extremely busy but it honestly seemed like everyone was working as a team and I love that.

My husband and I were driving to another restaurant, but this place caught my attention. We decided to go here and boyyyyyyy are we glad we did. As an appetizers we had the “hot” wings. Maybe because we are Hispanic, we didn’t think they were hot. However, they were delicious and the jalapeños on top… ahhhhh, so good. We asked for recommendations (1st time here) and discussed to each try the “Red Neck Reben.” My husband ate that up like it’s air. Lol. I also enjoyed it, it was too large for me to finish it (took it home) I added the jalapeño from the chicken wings and 12 out of 10. Lastly, when heading out, we were invited back (normal). We shared what burgers we were planning on trying next time we came back… and they brought us a sample!! A sample of the burgers we want to try NEVER did I imagine that would happen. I thought the gentleman who gave us the recommendation would just come out to say goodbye.
Not only was the service amazing, but you can tell the locals eat here. The staff and clients know each other’s by name. That’s amazing.
Lastly, the waitress was very nice and very attentive and also gave us recommendations. She was very patient with us as we decided what to try.

Don’t go here to eat not less u have a couple of hours to waste. They might have been 16 people there if that many cause 12 was at bar not eating they were just drinking and a table behind us and me and the Ol Lady ordered food and 45 minutes later and we still never seen our food so we got up and left. Will never waste my time again going there because food is nothing to brag about anyways.

This is hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I was checking out the area and was looking for a place that was local. Seeing the menu on line “Da Big Nasty” burger caught my eye. When I got in I was immediately greeted at the bar by the manager Jason and the bartender (I believe Ashley). They were both so welcoming and inviting thanking me for choosing to come in there. You could definitely tell that they appreciate your business. While it wasn’t extremely busy you can tell there was some locals at the bar. I ordered the burger and you would have thought most everyone in there was excited for me to try it. I’m certainly glad I did! The burger itself was huge. I managed to eat all of it but I couldn’t finish the rest of the chili and potato tots. Everything about the burger was delicious! This is a must-stop if you’re ever in the Gastonia area. They will treat you like you’ve been coming there your entire life. I will certainly be back soon! Thank you to Jason and the team for your hospitality!

The food, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness was top notch here. I’m a fan of chicken wings and Whiskey Mill serves the largest wings around. Wish there were a bbq flavor option.
I also took note that Sun Drop and Cheerwine were soda options.
My waitress was very enthusiastic about providing the best service she could. Another thumbs up. Additionally, the other employees also asked how everything was.
That doesn’t happen every day. They even cheerfully filled my personal ice cooler.

Good food. Good drinks. Servic3 could be better . Went there for dinner and ordered chicken Philly and a grilled chicken salad and long Island for my cocktails. Rr were clean. Also. The food is good. Give this a try . It’s in an older pizza hut building converted to a sort of older sports bar. Good place to grab a beer with buddies or maybe a game date too.

My hubs liked the potstickers although I wasn’t a fan – they had a strange wasabi taste to me. The steak sandwich was overdone & rather dry. The burger was decent but nothing special. Grabbed 2 strawberry cheesecake slices to go and after waiting for a good bit for them, we got them home to find them both still pretty frozen which was pretty disappointing.
We will definitely give the place another try & hope the food was subpar because it was close to 830pm when we went.
Our waitress was AMAZING though! Super friendly!
