Ate here the other day and the chicken sandwich was really good – so many flavors exploding in your mouth! Loved it! Person I was with got fish and chips, he said it was okay…but they came back (without comment from us) and brought him an additional piece of fish as they said the first one did not have as much batter on it as it should have…thought that was pretty awesome! Looking forward to the music starting and trying some other options…one not so great thing is that the appetizer came out with our meal – I really hate that, but we didn’t complain.

Loved the food, the atmosphere, the music, the vibe!!!!! Friendly service, but not real attentive. We went with pitchers for Coke so we didn’t have to wait for refills. Had to ask for plates. Had to go ask for our check. I think they are just understaffed.

Gotta say… I fancy myself as a bit of a shrimp and grits connoisseur…. These guys might have the best in town. Second time guests, first time eating. Both experiences have been great and we are excited to welcome them to the family of outstanding restaurants here in Atlantic Beach. David (I think;) ) was a fantastic bar tender and host. Highly recommend for a nice chill happy hour atmosphere and stay for a fantastic dinner. Two thumbs up.

Expect to pay large prices, for minimal service. Our server was absolutely horrid. Took over 20 min to get a drink, ordered a second beer, still haven’t gotten it. Never a refill on the sodas. My cheesesteak came out with no cheese, because I didn’t want the dukes brown ale sauce and asked what cheese came on the Philly…. The server didn’t know. ♀️ got my salad at the end of the meal, never got the dressing. I could understand if the place was packed, it was not. However, I would also understand if I wasn’t witnessing the staff taking shots at the kiosk behind the wall…

Service excellent. Austin was very attentive and gave good recommendations. I had the crab crusted Cod. Other party had Bacon Mac-n-cheese. We were not disappointed! Very Good.

The decor is fresh and fun with unique art of famous musicians. The whiskey bottles glitter under the light and folks gather around both sides of the bar to enjoy companionship, sports and people watching. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everybody. From the chef to the owner to the bartender to the server – the friendliness extends beyond good service. The real reason to visit the new Whiskey Jax, though, lies in the food. Delicious flavors, unique menu items and fresh taste – you won’t be disappointed!

After an excited time to wait till mo.s day was done, u finally answered a phone and many other delays, the disappointment was all to REAL!! Got all chip toppings on side, so I had to go home and cook anyways.barely any toppings..fries were burnt.philly was all bread and tasted like a steakum steak . Salad was lacking at best..really?? Fire ur staff and try again, beaches have better places than this dive of a ” new cool place” locals beware!

Great time and great place! They hosted the Jacksonville Clemson club and we really appreciated it! The food was great! Only recommend getting cable instead of satellite so that games aren’t missed when it goes out! Drinks were great and blue chips were great! Thank you! We will be back
