Social Profile:

We are located in an 1850’s restored building in the historical village of Burr Oak, Michigan. Beautiful woodwork, grand mirrors, and low lighting set the mood for an elegant 130 year old bar in the main room, which is sure to impress. The side room has additional tabletops. The back corridor has casual outside seating with a seasonal flower and herb garden that is dog friendly. Please keep all dogs on a short leash and clean up after them.

The Whiskey Creek Burr Oak is a nice restaurant and bar that has plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu includes some great bites, but it is a little limited. The staff are attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The garden area is perfect during the summer and its dog friendly too.

What a find in a town of 800 people. Beautiful antique bar and restoration of the building. The name says it all. Great whiskey and period cocktails. Only had time for one and wasn’t able to try the food. Will stop again on my next trip through the area.

We went here during Burr Oak Days and thought it might packed. It was busy, but not too bad. As more folks joined our party, an impromptu class reunion for my wife and her friends, our server Jayden was amazing. He kept the food and drinks coming and was friendly. He put up with a bunch of almost-50 year olds having a good time in their home town. And the food was great. I had The Rachael, basically a Reuben but with turkey, and my partner had the Margherita flatbread. The only downside is the acoustics – made for a very loud night and hard to hear others at times. But that could also just be us getting loud.

I loved it! Great atmosphere, great decor, friendly service and good food. It has the atmosphere of an expensive and upscale place while still being somewhere you can be comfortable in jeans. The only downside I’d say is they didn’t have steak or hamburgers on the menu yet. I’d love it if they had lasagna too! They said they’re going to be expanding their menu though. Can’t wait!

Visiting family. I was told, try the pretzel and beer cheese. It was a large pretzel with decent cheese and side of brown mustard. It was decent and filling. Other than the long wait to check out, on a Friday. Atmosphere seemed chill and inviting.
