I ordered a peanut butter cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and the pastry that looks like a muffin. Everything was delicious but you have to buy the item that looks like a muffin; I forgot what it’s called…it’s buttery sweet dough swirled together. It’s a little heavy. It is my favorite pastry right now.

This past Saturday I wanted a quick, delcious, and to go breakfast to take to convention and share with family so decided to check this place off my list. Ordered 2 maple sausage croissants, an oatmeal cream pie and 4 birthday cake macarons. Sis and I ate the croissants and they were so delcious and flaky. Macarons were huge and price was so reasonable. Kiddos enjoyed but couldn’t finish as they said they were too sweet. Brother in law loved his oatmeal cream pie. Would definitely come back just for those croissants.

Whisk is such a lovely shop. Their atmosphere is creative, high quality, and friendly. I love their macarons especially. Parking can be a bit hit or miss, but definitely worth it!

Second time in week. First time, they weee out of baguettes; ordered the Parisian and they used honey wheat sliced bread. Eh, not the best selection for this sandwich. Today, ordered the Parisian, again. This time they gave me a wrapped sandwich. After unwrapping it, first bite and the bread was old, stale, and hard. Like eating croutons. Eh, not bad, nor great. I cannot recommend the food; coffee is fine.

Something changed between my visit in July and my visit this morning, September 2nd. In July, I got a freshly-made crisp baguette ham and cheese sandwich (the Parisienne) and a nice croissant. I observed how nice and perfectly crunchy the baguette was- it tasted like they do in France. I came back today and ordered the same baguette sandwich as well as the Richmonder, and both were served saran-wrapped and cold, pulled out of the fridge. The baguette was not made of the same bread- it was like squishy and spongey. The Richmonder was hastily-assembled untoasted bread with iceburg lettuce. Like a real bad sandwich they give to free for volunteer workers. Today I also ordered a Cheddar and Chicken croissant – the pastry around it was good but the filling was like chopped up dog food with Velveta filling. It was so foul. I asked for a refund. Not sure what happened to Whisk but that was nasty.

Absolutely loved this place! It’s bright and clean. The smells are so intoxicating! The baked items are a feast for the eyes!!! The coffee was high quality and comforting. It had this beautiful crowd of guests on a sunday morning with excited looks on their faces anticipating thier tasty breakfsst and treats. That told me this place was special! The breakfast sandwiches sold out! I’m glad we were able to get some. This was such a cool food experience! One of my favorites so far!! Thank you guys!!!
