Found this gem and so glad I did (it was a short and cute walk from VCU/CHOR) – 20 minutes.

That croissant was the best I’ve had in YEARS.

Service was fast and friendly

The outdoor patio outback was quaint and cute! Just wish there was a trashcan to discard my trash

I will definitely be back to visit next time. I’m in Richmond.

I love that all of the syrups were Housemade

Tucked into a charming, walkable pocket near downtown Richmond, Whisk is a gem worth discovering—especially if you’re staying nearby. I stopped in for a croissant bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a drip coffee, and wow… the coffee was amazing. Smooth, bold, and exactly what I needed to start the day.

The sandwich hit all the right notes—flaky croissant, savory bacon, and a perfectly cooked egg. Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and a location that makes it easy to swing by whether you’re exploring or just waking up. I’ll definitely be back.

Whisk is in the top tier for coffeeshops/bakeries in RVA. They have a deep selection of sweets and smaller but solid rotation selection of savory baked goods like a french onion soup croissant.

The syrups they use for their lattes are top notch. Right now my favorite is the white mocha. I’ve noticed their lattes are not overly sweet. They are more subdued so if you like places like Dutch Bros you may not like em as much as I do.

The only downside is the space is small and the good tables get snatched quick. There is a patio though. If you’re looking for a coffeeshop to bring your computer and hunker down there are better options. But if you’re looking for top tier baked goods and coffee drinks you should definitely go here.

I loved this spot so so much! The vibe of the place was so comforting and beautiful. I definitely cashed out on a bunch of treats for my sweet tooth, and the service was super friendly! I loved this place and definitely recommend everyone to come here! Some of my favorites were the oatmeal sandwich cookie and the salted caramel blondie!

Any time I find myself in a new city, I like to find the best bakeries a place has to offer.

In Richmond, Whisk is that bakery. Frankly, it hits as hard as bakeries in much larger American and European cities.

This quaint warm bakery just on the outskirts of cobbly downtown Richmon is a delight.

The pastries are fresh and delectable. The coffee is fantastic- an espresso can shed light on a spot’s dedication to craft. The breakfast croissants were also phenomenal.

Highly recommend getting there close to open. The smells and warm ambiance are a great way to start the day.

The worst tasting hot chocolate I’ve ever had?? It was clumpy and bitter in a very unexpected way. And the quiche smelled and tasted like dirty socks. I think the servers are nice and the place is cute but on the food quality alone I cannot recommend and will not be back.

We stopped in to try out this coffee shop, it’s very cozy, and nice . I ordered the white mocha latte and a coconut macaroon , we also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant .bacon egg and cheese .
My first experience was absolutely great , todays experience and the last experience I would not recommend the sandwich’s here , some of the bakery items are old and hard like the cinnamon rolls , caked with butter, ever sense leaving I’ve had the worst stomach ache . Nice staff but selling old stuff for the price is insane

I was craving something buttery after my work out and saw this place was right by me. I ordered this huge bacon egg and cheese on this buttery decadent croissant. I went back and ordered the triple chocolate brownie and salted caramel blondie. After a little warm up( microwave )they were light, rich and delicious.

I’ve gone several times with my husband, but this time I thought he’d be out all morning, so I only bought one sandwich. I was a little over halfway through it when I walked in and saw his feet sticking out from the end of the bed. I crouched in the kitchen corner like a gremlin to finish it, but my traitorous dog alerted him that I had food. The look of betrayal on his face was so profound I almost think he’d have preferred I’d brought home another man. Either buy two, or hide the evidence better than I did.
